it was five pm. jimin and jeongguk were told they were allowed to go home, but since jimin mentioned he wanted to go out to eat, jeongguk decided they'd do that before heading back to their place.

the two sat in the car, jimin gushing about how excited he was to finally go out with jeongguk since it's been awhile. of course it sucked that they couldn't be intimate with one another once at the restaurant, but jimin was honestly just grateful they finally had the chance to spend time together.

jeongguk quietly, but happily listened to jimin express his beaming mood. it warmed jeongguks heart realizing how much little things like simply being around jeongguk made jimin happy. he felt so much love radiating off of jimin, and he knew right then and there that the blonde haired boy would he his husband one day in the future.

once parked outside of the restaurant, jeongguk put on a black mask to cover the lower half of his face and a cream colored bucket hat on to further cover himself. jimin put on pretty much the same things. a black mask and a black beanie instead of a bucket hat. jeongguk got out of the car, rushing over to jimins door to open it for him before he did it himself. jimin giggled softly to himself seeing jeongguk near sprint to the passenger door. he opened the door for jimin, staying silent because he knew he looked ridiculous running around the car.

"thank you, sir," jimin joked as he got out of the car. jeongguk winked and closed the door behind jimin. the two kept a comfortable distance between each other when walking into the restaurant in case anyone recognized jeongguk beneath the mask and big bucket hat.

jimin played it safe and decided against telling jeongguk people noticed him. often when he did realize, jeongguk would act really awkward and uncomfortable because he knew eyes were on him and jimin really didn't want jeongguks current joking, bright mood to dim because of it.

jimin set his phone down on the table and looked at jeongguk, who was staring at him with a sort of glimmer in his eyes. jimin, who was caught of guard, grinned lightly. "you okay?" jimin asked. the doe eyed bow nodded a little, looking away out of embarrassment. "what's wrong?" jimin teased.

jeongguk smiled, but covered his face to cover the fact that a slight red tint was beginning to appear across his face. "hey, don't ignore me," jimin demanded, giggling whilst speaking. jeongguk removed his hands and shook his head no.

"tell me!"
"you're just really hot."

jimin widened his eyes. he was expecting something like 'you're so pretty' or 'there's something on your face ho', but instead he was told something that honestly turned him on more than he'd like to admit.

they weren't going to be able to escape the dating rumors after they both excused themselves to the restaurant bathrooms, where they stayed for a suspicious amount of time.
