It was the day of Louis' first festival in the UK today (my festival!!) and to say he was nervous was the biggest understatement of the century as today all his family and harry were going to be there. Obviously he was well aware that he performed with harry on stage but also watching him many times before and same with his family but today was different, it was his first festival in his home country and he had a sore throat which was just Louis' luck in is opinion. This is exactly why Louis spent his first 10 minutes since waking up today ranting to harry about how incredibly annoying it was that he had a sore throat today which Harry patiently listened too, and long story short Louis felt very emotional.

As the boys got their days started and got dressed and had breakfast, they both were thinking about things, Louis was thinking about about how amazing this concert was going to be, but Harry however was worried, worried for his husband who seemed to be trying to ignore his sore throat today and not rest it like Harry asked, "c'mon Lou, just don't talk until you get to the festival, its not that hard" he mentioned many time to which Louis just dismissed him, "it'll be fine, sun, you worry too much" and placed a kiss on his cheek. But the sore throat wasn't the only thing that harry was getting anxious about for Louis, he was also thinking about Jay, and he knew for a fact that Louis would be too because when Harry was doing all his big shows all he thought about was Robin and he knew it would be 10 times worse for Louis who always had his mum here for the big or even little shows when he performed in England. Harry knew his husband well and he could tell Louis was trying not to think about it, to push it back and put on a brave face because even though his mum died almost eight years ago it was still so clear in his mind, but Harry knew from past experience that all this not working past the problem would come back to bite him.

Unsurprisingly Harry was right, and he first sign that Harry knew he would be right came in the form of when Krystle, Louis hair stylist did his hair and Louis snapped at her because his 'hair looked weird' as Louis said. Many would just have assumed that Louis was simply being rude because he was a pop star and all pop stars were entitled but Harry knew this wasnt the case, first of all because as soon as the words left Louis' mouth his eyes opened wide and he immediately apologised but second of all it was commonly known that when Louis was upset and didn't want to admit it, he snapped, now Louis wasn't aware that Harry heard him snap at Krystle but he did so when Harry came over, Louis attempted to cover his tracks with "me and Krystle were just talking, sun", watching as Krystle rolled her eyes at the blatant lie, luckily the woman wasn't annoyed with Louis as she had come to know him well over the years and was able to tell he was just a bit upset about something.

The next clue that Harry was in fact right about Louis being upset about Jay but being too stubborn to admit it was when the boys met up with Louis' family and an off comment was made about Jay by one of Louis' many siblings, Lottie to be exact, just mentioning how Jay would have ben proud, "mum would have been so happy to be here Lou, she would have loved this" with a proud glint in her that quite reminded harry of the exact woman Lottie was talking about, so he knew Lous would have noticed too. Harry watched Louis carefully for a reaction once Lottie said this and from the outside it would have looked like there wasn't much of reaction but Harry saw the small glint of sadness in his eyes before Louis excused himself to go to the bathroom which all his family saw through but they let him have his time as they weren't going to get him open up by asking.
