chapter 2I jumped from my spot gasping trying to catch my breath as the strange dream was passing through my memories. I touched my neck and cheek as I was still panting, I still could recall my whole dream clears as the day... a wizard standing by a burning tree, a magical book with flipping pages, a lady's hand that held up a magical orb, a dark scary jungle pave lighted by the full moon, then a beautiful magical lake then... at the end the wizard facing me...
"what on earth was that..? It didn't seem like a normal dream.." I whispered as I recalled the dream again my head started to hurt. "was it even a dream..?" I whispered again frowning and looked out the window of my room. I felt kinda scared because of the dream, it was a simple looking dream but it terrified me...
I shook my head closing my eyes trying to take deeper breaths to calm myself. "I must figure it out, it was too real to be called a dream im sure of it..." I nodded opening my eyes again and got up getting closer to the window... I saw maids and guards were preparing something... the scenes I saw in my dreams they...
I gasped as I looked at the forest, the scene was similar to the mysterious jungle I went to! I must go there! But before~
I ran to my desk grabbing my bag which I had my necessary things in it and ran outside. I ran the stairs down the maids gasped asking me to be careful as I laughed passing them all. They all were scared but I didn't mind them because I was always this way.
Once I reached down I saw father with a few men and I stopped immediately. Father looked at me as the others greeted me and I bowed looking as father walked passed me. I sighed faintly smiling as they left and looked away... he did love me but he was a very cold hearted man alive...
"who made my princess sad today?" I turned towards the noise finding grandma and squealed hugging her, "grandma! How are you??" she smiled hugging me back, "oh my my, im doing just great sweetie, where are you going in a hurry??" I smiled at her, "just going to the library nowhere special." I assured as she hummed "as long as you are in the castle is fine." she nodded as I smiled.
my grandma was an amazing woman, she was the only woman I new so far and respected her so much, she taught me a lot of things and showed me many things so I really appreciated her.
After saying goodbyes to her I ran into the library, I could some maids whispering to themselves as I walked pass them. "I've heard the ling is thinking to throw a gala in next week." "right? I cant wait for it." "yes but he also said that-" I walked into the library not wanting to hear more about it. "tho why I never come across the magical books till now?? also dreams like that..." I wondered as I walked pass the bookshelves... slowly getting lost in my own thought I slowly started to feel an unexpected feeling filling my chest. A feeling of sorrow or... abandoned...?
I shook my head shoving the thoughts off and looked around the shelves again, "dear gosh! It feels like forever, it will take longer if I have to find those here? Ughh what's the purpose of this big library anyway!" I complained as my eyes were fixed on the books, then it passed through my mind.
I gasped smiling big "of course! She knows!" I turned around walking faster to the directions I knew she was... my favourite maid.
"henna!!" I called out once I found her by the other bookshelves dusting the books. She has an beautiful and pleasant appearance, I knew her since my childhood and she cared for me so much since then. "look who is here! Princess of lariem Samin!" she laughed as she saw me and hugged me close, I hugged her back smiling sweetly and stepped back as she did the same. "sorry for bothering you while you're working henna I just had a question." she laughed at me and patted my back "oh do not worry the slightest princess, what can I help you with??" she said as I fiddled with my fingers a bit nervously, "I need your help in finding some books about ma..gic...?" I said as I smiled nervously. her smile slowly disappeared as she looked at me and I stood there a bit worried, it took her a few more seconds before speaking again, "magic books...?" she forced a smile patting my head "don't talk nonsense princess we don't have such thing." she said as I looked down frowning... if we didn't then... why did she take so long in saying that... "don't look deeply into it princess please. Now if you excuse me I have a lot of work to do." I watched as she walked off and sighed, feeling defeated I wanted to leave but I saw a tail.
