Chapter 15 Blind

Reader's POV:

Most of the meetings were held in my hospital the first times. After my surgery I was let go and I continued writing. The group name was called "Quartet Stars". The four went popular almost instantly and had loads of work. Ranmaru kept complaining the 'senpais' were strict and that he barely had any time for me. On the weekend's Ranmaru spent more time with me but we were usually interrupted by the other three.

After about 3 years Quartet Stars became somewhat professionals. I was really proud of the 4 and kept writing. Ranmaru and me celebrated every year our anniversary by going to a restaurant and Ranmaru would take a day off and make the next day stuffed. The group with Ranmaru would give me their CD as a present and I gave them a while lesson how to cook a hard and long meal. Our birthday's were celebrated less because of our schedule.

One day... I was writing a new song. I got dizzy and took a pill and took a rest. Ranmaru had a day off and was currently on my bed watching me. He saw me take a pill.

"Hey you okay?" Ranmaru asked. I nodded.

"Yeah I'm-" I started before I quickly sat down. Ranmaru sat up and came over to me.

"(f/n)? Hey..." Ranmaru started. I started coughing violently and covered my mouth. Ranmaru was holding me worriedly. My cough calmed down and I moved away my hand and my vision was blurry but I saw red. That was what it took before Ranmaru ran to get the phone and call the ambulance. My hand shook.

"No.." I whispered. I heard Ranmaru put the phone down. He sat in front of me.

"Ran-ran.." I whispered. Ranmaru took my hand even though it was bloody.

"Don't worry, its okay, their gonna come soon," Ranmaru said softly and picked me up and carried me out of my room and sat me on the couch. Ettoki, Gin and Wakama noticed.

"Ranmaru whats up?" Wakama asked. Ranmaru looked at them.

"Her health suddenly worsened," Ranmaru said his voice cracking.

"I can barely see.." I said shaking. Ranmaru took my hands. He squeezed them and gave me a kiss. He tried to pull away by I clutched on to him.

"I don't want to die," I whimpered. Ranmaru gulped.

"You won't, you'll be alright," Ranmaru said. I felt him shaking violently.

"Ranmaru she's turning pale..." Ettoki whispered.

"SHUT UP!" Ranmaru yelled and I felt him hug me tightly. I clutched on to him. We all heard the ambulance. I passed out while getting there. I woke up and rolled over and groaned softly. My vision was blurry. I sat up. I started crying.

"No.." I whimpered. I heard shuffling around me.

"I can't see." I whimpered holding out my hand. I felt someone grasp it. I knew this hand. I squeezed his hand.

"Ran-ran.." I whispered.

"Shh.. I'm here," Ranmaru's voice came from someone around me.

"Who else is here?" I asked. Ranmaru shook.

"Mr. Saotome.. Teachers.. Our group and Alexa and Nathalie," Ranmaru's voice cracked. I heard out a cry. It was Alexa's cry.

"W-why can't I see? WHY!?" I asked starting to cry. I felt Ranmaru shake. The room was silent. I heard the door open and close. After a few seconds the door closed.

"Did they all leave?" I asked. Ranmaru was silent but I held his hand. I shifted and tried reaching out to him. He grabbed my free hand trying to reach him.

"Ran-ran.." I whispered. I heard him sniffle. I knew he was crying.

"Your not gonna die, right?" Ranmaru said his voice hoarse. I shook.

"Can I hug you?" I whispered. I heard him move and felt the bed dip. I reached and felt his shirt. I suddenly felt him hug me tightly. My hands managed to reached his face. I ran my fingers softly feeling tears on his cheeks. The tears seemed fresh. I suddenly felt tears form in my eyes.

"Their gonna preform a surgery on you soon," Ranmaru said softly his voice his hoarse.

"Ran-ran, I love you, a lot," I said holding him tightly. I felt him tremble.

"I love you more (f/n)," he managed. I closed my eyes enjoying the warm feeling. I felt him slightly pull away before I felt his lips on mine. I pressed my lips against his. His tongue swirled in to my mouth. Its been 4 years since we were together. That's why it was his day off.

"Happy Anerversity," Ranmaru mumbled with a small laugh. I shook and held him.

"I'm sorry," I whispered. 5 years we were best friends but 4 of them we were a couple.

"Okay! Surgery time!" The nurse said opening the door.

After a few hours I woke up. I felt a lot of presences.

"Ranmaru she's awake!" I heard Alexa's voice.

"Alexa..?" I whispered. She went quiet.

"Yes its me," she said and pet my hand trembling a little. I heard messy shuffling and on the other side of the bed I was hugged. I didn't feel my legs. I hugged back. It was Ranmaru.

"She's horribly pale.." Gin muttered.

"I know.." Ranmaru's voice was lower then a whisper. He was shaking. He pulled away and kissed me. I felt his tears. I kissed him back and held his hands.

"Don't leave me," Ranmaru begged his voice hoarse and cracking.

"Please don't leave, your the first person I let in to my life after that." Ranmaru whispered.

"I love you Ran-ran," I whispered. Ranmaru shook.

"I love you too but more," he whispered

"Ran-ran can you pass me the shorts I was in earlier?" I asked. Ranmaru got up and came back and handed me them. I looked through the pockets. I found what I was looking for and dropped the shorts somewhere. I found Ranmaru's hand and pulled it slightly and slowly wrapped a bracelet around his wrist. It was a spike I found earlier once it was cheap and really cool compared to the others.

"Your present, happy Anerversity," I said softly. Ranmaru hugged me. I heard the beeping change. Everyone gasped in the room. Ranmaru froze. I sighed sadly.

"I guess... I'll miss you all, a lot, sorry for keeping you guys here," I said softly. I heard out cries. Ranmaru was shaking and holding me tightly.

"No. No no no no.." Ranmaru whispered.

"Ran-ran don't miss me okay? I love you the most, and tell the kittens and cats I'll miss them," I said softly. Ranmaru held me tightly.

"I love you more, and I will," Ranmaru whispered.

"And one more thing, please remember me," I said softly.

"We will.. Right guys?" Ranmaru said softly his voice hoarse.

"Yeah! We will!" Gin, Ettoki, Wakama, Nathalie and Alexa said.

"We'll miss you," the teachers said.

"We'll remember you," Mr. Saotome said. I sighed a little and smiled and then I heard the beeping change and then everything went black. Nothing was there anymore...
