Ava and The Shadow

Chapter 2 Yin and Yang

Ava and Erebus get to misty's base, "honey, we're home" Erebus screamed "be serious for once Erebus ,a shadow being has just attacked you" said Misty, Erebus replied " Okay don't be angry, look what I got " he shows her the power source, Misty looks at the necklace and says
"Finally we can defeat Shadow, and the chosen one will become our ruler."
"Aren't you a shadow, Misty?, Why are you helping the sorcerers? Shouldn't you be with the shadows, how do we know that you won't betray us?" Ava suspiciously asks Misty. Misty's expression turned somber, her distorted voice laced with a hint of determination. "I was once a loyal servant of the Shadow Kingdom, but I grew disillusioned with their rigid hierarchy and lack of balance. I saw the potential for harmony between light and darkness, and I knew I had to act." She paused, collecting her thoughts. "I helped Erebus find you, Ava, because I believe you're the key to achieving that balance. Your... uniqueness makes you a powerful symbol of hope for both sorcerers and shadows." Ava narrowed her eyes, still unsure. "And what's in it for you, Misty? Why risk betraying your own kind?" Misty's gaze intensified. "I seek to prevent the Shadow Kingdom's tyranny. With Shadow's rise to power, our kind will become even more bound to darkness, losing any chance at balance or freedom. I want to help you defeat Shadow and create a new path, one where shadows and light can coexist."

After hearing misty's story Ava was sure that they can trust Misty, "So who is shadow, does anyone knows him? Have Lyra found him yet?"Asked Erebus, Misty replied " No, No one knows who is he, Lyra has been looking for him even before we found Ava, but she still hasn't found him yet" Ava Says"that's our advantage then , if she hasn't found shadow yet, then we can execute our plan, so what's the plan?"Erebus starts to tell the plan "since we don't have to deal with Shadow, we get to the kingdom of light and the chosen one, which is you(points at Ava) will become the ruler and bring peace and balance to the both kingdoms" Erebus gives the necklace to Ava , She wears the necklace and get going. Erebus realises that Lyra broke his staff and now he's unable to open portals between different worlds,but he gets an idea "We have to get my staff first" said Erebus.
They all headed to the temple where erebus's staff was broken, Ava took the broken pieces of staff and merged them with her powers,
Before Erebus could open the portal to the kingdom of light, Lyra suddenly appears and takes Ava Away with her to the kingdom of Shadows.Erebus's eyes widened in horror as Lyra vanished with Ava. "No! We can't let her take Ava to the Kingdom of Shadows!" Misty's face set in determination. "We need to act fast. Erebus, can you use the temple's energy to track Lyra's portal?" Erebus nodded, focusing his powers. A faint resonance echoed through the temple, guiding them toward Lyra's portal. Misty drew her own dagger, its blade shimmering with a soft, blue light. "Let's go. We'll need all our strength to face whatever darkness awaits us." Erebus steeled himself, his eyes burning with resolve. "We'll get Ava back, no matter the cost." With a deep breath, they stepped into the portal's swirling darkness, ready to face the unknown dangers of the Kingdom of Shadows.
