Chapter 12 - Offering Truce

With the appearance of Izu, everything went to a halt. Horobi and Jin are shocked to see the Humagear, while both (Y/n) and Izu herself are confused as to why.

"How... how did you..." Horobi asked, as she slowly filled with rage.

"Okay, let's all be calm now..." (Y/n) replied while preparing himself to defend Izu. "I know a bit about the history of the Humagears here, but Izu is with me ever since we first met."

"... the old Lab..." Horobi muttered. "Then that must be where you get that Driver... you stole grandfather's tech!" Horobi's outrage surprised (Y/n) to a certain degree.

"Wait... Mr. Hiden is your grandfather?!" (Y/n) replied in shock, making Horobi and Jin confused.

"Wait, you know grandpa?" Jin asked.

"Okay, time out!" (Y/n) said while making a T sign with his hands. "I know that we're enemies and all, but if what you're saying is true, then we shouldn't keep fighting."

With (Y/n)'s peace offering, Horobi and Jin turned towards each other, in which Horobi sigh before de-transform herself. With that, (Y/n) also does the same as a mean of agreement.

"Alright. Explain yourself. Who exactly are you..." Horobi asked, lowering her hostility towards our protagonist.

'Should I tell her that I came from another world though...' (Y/n) thought, but Izu pats his back.

"I suggest that you should tell her everything, President (Y/n)." She said.

"Fine... But I don't think that they would believe me." (Y/n) sweatdropped. Regardless, he explained his background to the two, including his knowledge of Kamen Rider Zero-One (The Driver, The Progrisekey, and the Humagear as well as the former president) and arrival as an otherworlder, as well as how he got the Driver in the first place. Of course, the two did not believe him at first, until Izu said this:

"I do believe him fully. It's not just because he's not lying, but because I'm with him the moment he came to the lab. Everything he does is based of his knowledge from the show, which is why I truly believe him."

"Izu..." (Y/n) said, at awe of Izu's trust on him. The two Metsuboujinrai sisters looked at Izu intently, with Horobi then sighing again.

"It all make sense then." Horobi said, "But that doesn't change the fact that our grandfather is imprisoned because of the corrupt society. If we just get rid of IS..."

"But terrorizing people isn't the way..." (Y/n) said as he begin walking closer to the sisters. "What would Mr. Hiden say if he saw his two granddaughters committing crimes like this?"

This finally broke Horobi's composure. For the longest time, she lead the Metsuboujinrai in an attempt of getting rid of IS for good, but never once did she thought of that before.

"No..." Jin begin tearing up as well, "Grandpa..."

"You..." Horobi growled. "Do you even know just how much our grandfather cared for us?! We're doing it for his sake!"

"I don't, and that's not true!" (Y/n) said, "But I do know this. Mr. Hiden cares for everyone, that's why he created the Humagears. Humagears are androids that will bring happiness to humanity, and I believe that when he was creating it, he thought of you two."

Horobi then gasped, reminding herself of the memory of the past, where she and Mr. Hiden were drawing schematics for their first Humagear. She just realized that the Humagear strikes similar appearance to herself, as if he wanted the first Humagear to be based on her own granddaughter.

"Grandfather..." Horobi teared up, unable to keep the fact to herself.

"It's not too late to change, Horobi, Jin." (Y/n) said. "You don't have to keep doing this, and you don't have to turn yourself to the police. We can help you bring Mr. Hiden back." He then extends his hand to her, in which Horobi stare at it before reaching for it. However...

"Aww, no more fighting?" Everyone stopped to hear an unfamiliar voice somewhere around them, and then sounds of unified footsteps approaching them, as an army of androids then surround the four.

"Vulcans?! Valkyries?!" (Y/n) exclaimed in shock over seeing an army of supposed Riders. What's more is that the leader of them then emerged from the crowd: the 'Lady Amatsu' herself.

"Oh? You know our unit names? Make sense because of your story." 'Lady Amatsu' said. "Then you probably know my name then."

(Y/n) then notices her features, until he points at her in disbelieve. "You're the CEO of ZAIA, Gai Amatsu!"

'Lady Amatsu' did a double take on the name, before bursting into laughter. "What a funny assumption, Hiden Lapboy." She then said, making confused over the nickname, "But you're half right. I am the CEO of ZAIA Enterprise, but my name is Senkin Amatsu."

"Huh..." (Y/n) awed.

"But regardless, I was hoping that this fight would continue, but oh well..." Senkin then raised her hand, almost as if she's going to order the androids to attack.

"Oh crap! Everyone, run!" (Y/n) quickly transforms and grabbed Izu, while Horobi does the same with Jin. However, the androids fire their shots at the two Riders, forcing them to take damage from all sides.

"Sis/President!" Both of the non-transformed cried. The two Riders are struggling over the barrage of bullets, until the Breaking Mammoth returned out of nowhere, surprising the two girls.

"... Understood." Izu said, before going into the robot while pulling Jin inside as well. She then pilot the Breaking Mammoth to block the shots, in which she shouted over the two Riders.

"Both of you, we must retreat!" Izu shouted, which she opens the hatch for both Riders to get in, before the robot changed form and flies away hurriedly. Senkin meanwhile laments of her failed 'cleanup' thanks to the Humagear's sudden interference, but it does give her idea of what's happening right now.

"So the heroic Hiden Lapboy and the villainous Metsuboujinrai are going to work together huh..." She said to herself. "And that android... looks like we missed one." She then giggled. "Oh well, they can't stay away for too long. After all, what kind of TV show that just suddenly change its plot?"

And then, Senkin and the androids left the area, and the chaos that happened came to an end. Although, it marks the new beginning of yet another conflict in the future...

(... Well, crap.
I ended up cancelling Shining Hopper's debut. But oh well...
