Clay tutors Viva and things happen along the way.... An upcoming story in the making.

One afternoon a junior high troll student named Viva had finished her classes and was now in the gym practicing cheerleading when she saw a teacher come over.

''Viva the principle wants to see you.'' The gym teacher replied.

Viva got off of the pyramid. ''Keep going I'll be back.''

She went to the office wondering what the principle wanted. While walking she passed a blue troll with crazy green hair wearing a sweater romper and she smiles at him, and he smiles back. 

She went to the office and walked into the principal's office.

''You wanted to see me Mr. Quincy?'' She asked.

''Yes, come in Viva. How are you doing?'' He asked.

''I'm fine, wondering why I'm in here?'' Viva replied as she sat down.

''It's come to my attention your grades are failing and if you can't get your grades up and keep them, you'll have to repeat junior year again.'' Quincy replied.

Viva looked surprised. ''I thought I had been doing good?''

''You have but there are 2 classes that you need to pass to graduate on time, and that is math and writing. You are failing and those count as your final grade at the end of the year. Luckily, we are only halfway into the school year, so you'll have time to catch up.'' He said.

''Does that mean I have to give up my other activities?'' She asked worried.

''No, not yet as long as you get those grades up.'' He replied.

''What happens if I can't get them up?'' She asked.

''Well, if you can't get them up, the last quarter of the school year we will pull you from the other activities and put you to focus on your classes.'' Qunicy replied.

Viva gulped and Quincy smiled. ''There is a solution for you, we have tutoring classes for students who need help. There is a certain troll who tutors and I think he can help you. His name is Clay Lake.'' Quincy replied.

''Oh and where can I find him?'' She asked.

''Hm he is usually outside on the picnic benches studying ask him to help you.'' Quincy replied.

Viva nodded and got up as she left and went to the gym and grabbed her back when she saw everyone leaving.

''Say Viva you want to get ice cream with us?'' Asked her friend Amy.

''Nah, I got plans.'' She replied.

''Dylan is going to be there.'' Amy replied.

Viva sighed as much as she wanted to flirt with her crush she couldn't. ''Maybe later.''

Meanwhile outside Clay was working on his history work. Viva found him and went over and tapped him on the shoulder.

He turned and saw Viva.

''Hey your Clay, right?" Asked Viva.

''Yes, I am and your Viva captain of the cheerleading team and most popular troll in school.'' He replied.

''Yeah, but anyway, I was hoping you could tutor me I'm failing in a couple of subjects.'' She replied turning red.

Clay was surprised but smiled. ''Sure. Sit.'' He smiled.

She sat down and placed her bag on the ground. ''How about we start tomorrow after school is there a time and place you want?'' He asked.

''Not really.'' Viva replied.

''Ok, meet me here tomorrow after school and we can go to my place to work on it my family will be out, so it gives us some time to focus on the subjects.'' He replied.

''Sounds good.'' She noticed he was working on something. 

''What's that?'' She asked.

''Oh, history we got that big test coming up.'' Clay replied.

''Do you have it ok? Because History is one of my strong subjects.'' She replied.

He looked up. ''No thanks I got it but we can work on it together if you want.'' He suggested wanting to spend time with the blond.

''Sure, we can quiz each other.'' She smiles as they look at his history book.

Viva and Clay spend most of the afternoon into the early evening working on the history project finally Clay's phone went off and he saw it was his grandma.

''Dang look at the time well I have to get going.'' He said.

''Same. So I'll meet you here tomorrow?'' He asked.

''Yeah, I'll be here.'' She smiles.

''Here let me give you a ride.'' Clay replied.

''Sure.'' Viva got into the car with Clay, and he drove her to the address.

''Funny you are a block away from me.'' He grins.

''Woah, nice! Guess we'll have to take turns.'' She smiles as he pulled in the driveway.

''Thanks for the ride and for tutoring me.'' She replied.

''Of course, see ya Viva.'' He smiles as he took off and back home.

Once he got home, he went in and saw his brothers at the table and Rosiepuff walked in the doorway.

''Where have you been Clay?'' She asked relieved.

''I was busy studying with someone.'' He replied.

''And who is this someone?'' Asked John Dory.

''Just someone who will be a friend.'' Clay replied.

Branch came down and smiles at Clay. ''About time you showed up.''

Branch was in 8th grade and was happy to see his brother and have the family home.

''Sorry, I got busy with your little girlfriends' sister.'' Clay shot back and blushed when the family stopped and looked at him most had grins while Rosiepuff smiles.

''Shut up all of you. Its not what you think.'' Clay replied.

''She not my girlfriend she just a friend.'' Branch replied turning red as he sat down.

Viva walked in and saw her sister Poppy hug her.

''Viva you are late I was worried.'' Poppy replied.

''Sorry I was getting tutoring from a troll named Clay.'' Viva replied.

Poppy giggles. ''You mean Branch Lake's brother?''

''Yes, oh wait Branch is in your grade and your boyfriend huh?'' Viva winks.

''No, he doesn't see me like that yet.'' She replied.

''So is dad home?'' Asked Viva.

''No, not yet.'' Poppy replied.

''Want to eat some pizza?'' She asked.

''Yes please.'' Poppy giggles as Viva made a call.

The next day Viva was walking out of school when she saw Clay who was talking Julie as she left.

''Hey Clay, ready?'' Asked Viva.

''Yeah, let's go.'' He winks as they drove to his place.
