24. THE CHANCE x CONFESSION <3

POV - LanZhan

The wind is so soft, it firmly touches our skin, the city is full of lights, the moon in the sky is half with sparkly stars, in this atmosphere weiying told me why he doesn't like me, after i Hugged him he also wrapped his arms around mine, i was shocked, don't know how to react, i was harsh to him also i wound him and hurt his feelings without knowing, in this tension he said softly " I forgive you, LAN. "
My eyes widened, i still can't believe he said that, what's more shocked thing is how can he forgive me after i did that to him, just thinking about that, my eyes are become watery, they felt wet, my heart is aching so much, i just want to forget all this and want to lost in weiying's embrace.

I still don't know what to answer, i slowly pulled back from a hug and watched his face, i know he really meant those words, but... His face really makes me weak, he is really waiting for the reply, i wipe my tears, my face is miserable, i can't explain which reaction actually it is, " Weiying... " My words are broken and shaky, " I don't want you to forgive me... This easily... I... Weiying... I want you to give me A CHANCE , I'll do anything to pay  for what i did...I really like you... I'll do anything you ask me to do... Just... One Chance..." My breath is heavy, my heart is running fast, not like i expected that he still likes me. But i still want him to know how i feel about him.

POV - WeiYing

His voice is quite heavy and shaky, i can tell he's nervous, and in this intense moment he confessed that he likes me, my heart literally skips a bit, I'm shocked that the guy who is homophobic is likes me ?!! My heart is pounding, the reason is i also like him, and i also forgive him, i really meant those words, i don't know if he wants a chance for what he did or for confession. The tension filled the atmosphere, the wind softly brushed our hair, he was still waiting for an answer, I sighed and wiped my tears which fell down from my eyes that I was holding back for so long.

My eyes met his, i don't want to be harsh nor I wanted to taunt him, i speak while looking away in sarcastic tone, " i don't know if you really mean it or not, but the guy i send letter is taking interest in me, I'm really not expecting this, are you kidding me or what ? " I fake laughed. Even if he meant it, did he really can-

Lanzhan cut off my thoughts before I thought more, he was really serious about what he said, he grabbed my shoulders and said, " i really meant it, weiying... Give me a chance, i just want a month before i graduate, if you accept my feelings in this one month, I'll take this as my forgiveness. " His breath is still heavy, his words are cracked, not like i don't like him, i really do like him and i don't care if i confess him right away, but i also have self respect.

He then let go of my shoulders.

POV - 3RD PERSON

Weiying then looked at lanzhan with a smile and said, " then... Let's do this. " He looks back at the lights down in the city. " But... What if i can't give you an answer in this one month ? Are you going to give up ? " Weiying asked while wipe his tears.

Lanzhan also looked down at the lights, he wiped his own tears, his voice is soft as he spoke, " do you think you can easily get rid of me ? " Lanzhan smiled and said, " i don't plan on giving up until we're alive. "

" What cheesy lines there, mr. Lan " weiying chuckled, they feel more at ease now with each other.

" Weiying... " Lanzhan called out his name. Weiying looked up at him. " Huh ? " Weiying asked. " Do you ever date anyone ? " Lanzhan asked while hesitating. 

" I didn't, not like i wait for you obviously. " Weiying said before rolled his eyes.

Lanzhan chuckled, " i see... Then... Let me propose to you after the graduation party. " Weiying's eyes are widened, heart is beating, he really doesn't expect this. He blinks his eyes in disbelief. A small blush (not visible) appears on weiying's face as he heard it.

" I don't mind, but don't get overwhelmed, I haven't answered you yet. " Weiying said while looking away.

After that they talk with each other about what happened in those past years when they're not together.
