5 Friends and Their Stories

Welcome to the Flipline Universe

Author Note: Hey, guys! This will just be a fun book, covering what all would happen if me and my four best online friends ended up in the Flipverse (if it was real). I wanna give a huge shout out to Ashton, Eli, Purple Ethan, and Green Ethan for being my besties and keeping me sane! <3333

Five friends were scattered throughout the world: Shawna, Ashton, Eli, Purple Ethan, and Green Ethan. Yes, there were two Ethans in the group, so they were usually called by their favorite colors to avoid confusion.

Unfortunately, they only knew each other online, but all five of them were longing to meet one day.

As Shawna sat by her window one night as she was chatting on Discord with her four friends (Ashton, Eli, Purple Ethan and Green Ethan), she saw Sirius, the brightest star next to the Sun. "I wish I could meet these people one day." she said to herself. "Maybe even escape all the bullshit this world has..."

The bright star began to flicker even more so afterwards.

Eventually, everyone went to bed, so Shawna logged off Discord for the night AND opened up her book planning/outlining document on Google Docs. She was an aspiring author and wanted to write books to help people get a better understanding of the world. Some of these books included, but are not limited to: Neurodivergence, school, and parental guidance.

After doing some writing for an hour to wind down, Shawna got under her covers, and went to sleep. This only lasted a couple of hours, as she was woken up from a strange light emitting from her closet.

"Huh?" Shawna mumbled to herself. "What the hell is going on...?"

"Am I dreaming...?"

The light was five different colors. Five familiar colors at that: Pink, Purple, Blue, Cyan, and Green.

Green was Green Ethan's favorite color.

Cyan was Ashton's favorite color.

Blue was Eli's favorite color.

Purple was, of course, Purple Ethan's favorite color

And finally, pink was Shawna's favorite color.

"Hmm, this combination of colors is oddly familiar to me and my friends..." Shawna said to herself.

"Yeah, screw it!" Shawna said abruptly. "I HAVE to check this out!"

Shawna went into her closest, getting sucked into the portal.

"Whoa!" Shawna exclaimed. "What. Is. HAPPENING?!"

Shawna traveled through the portal at a very high speed. This lasted for three minutes, until she found herself in a very familiar town.

Tastyville.

Tastyville was a very iconic town from one of Shawna's favorite video game franchises of all time: Papa Louie. It was a series of cooking games and Shawna had always longed to live in the Flipverse. It just seemed so much better than the dull place called 'the real world'.

"No...this has to be a dream..." Shawna said, shocked. "The Flipverse isn't real..."

"I wish it was though."

"MOM?!" Shawna heard a familiar voice call out. The person calling Shawna "mom" was a male. He had a light blue snow-themed outfit on and cat headphones to match. He loved cats, after all.

That voice belonged to no other than Ashton. Shawna was not Ashton's mother biologically, nor was she his mother legally, but in their heart of hearts, they WERE mother and son. (Author Note: Yes, it's true. I see Ashton as a son, and he sees me as a mother. <3)
