5 Friends and Their Stories

First Day At Their Jobs

Author's Note: I decided that a job-related chapter would be appropriate to write next. ^^

Also, when I put a ". . ." in between some paragraphs, it indicates scene changes, and time skips. ^^

The last couple of days had been a blast. The five friends spent the last couple of days getting acquainted with Tastyville and its businesses.

The five did some shopping, ordered pizzas for their last few meals, and pretty much, they just spent the entire weekend throwing pizza parties at each other's apartments. It was practically the best weekend of their lives, and they were happy to find out that all of this was, in fact, real.

Unfortunately, however, time really DOES fly when you are having fun, so it was already time for them to face the moment they were all dreading.

Their first days at their jobs.

And it was only Monday too.

Ugh.

The five friends woke up bright and early, at 8:00AM. They met by the doors of Papa's Pizzeria, so they could say their good-byes.

"I will see you guys this evening." Eli said, greeting the rest of the group good-bye. "I hope you all have good first days at work."

Since Eli was assigned to work at Papa's Pizzeria, he didn't have to leave the building like the rest of them did.

Ashton smiled. "Aww, thank you Eli."

"Same." Shawna agreed, smiling. "I hope everything goes well for you all."

"Let's meet up outside tonight after our shifts." she requested

The other four nodded in agreement.

"Thank you, Shawna." Green Ethan responded with a smile.

"Well, I will talk to you guys later." Purple Ethan waved, as he went through the doors of the pizza parlor with Shawna, Ashton, and Green Ethan, who were all going their separate ways.

Just then, Papa Louie arrived in the Pizzeria lobby.

"Alright, Mr. Eli, are you ready to get started?" he asked. "My nephew Roy and my niece Joy will show you the ropes."

"Sure." Eli shrugged. He was as "ready" as he could have been at least.

Papa Louie guided Eli to the Order Station of Papa's Pizzeria, where Roy and Joy were.

"Hey." Roy greeted. "You're Eli, right?"

"Yep." Eli confirmed.

They were prepared to take the first customer's order - Iggy.

"Hmm, I see this place has a new worker." Iggy pointed out, intrigued.

"Yep. My name is Eli." he introduced himself, pointing to his own name tag. "Nice to meet you."

"My name's Iggy!" the customer beamed. "It's nice to meet you, and I hope you can make a yummy pizza!"

"I will definitely try." Eli reassured him.

Then Iggy began to give Eli his order.

"So I would like a..."

"So, what you want to do is copy the orders onto an order ticket." Roy whispered to Eli.

"Garlic knot crust pizza topped with creamy garlic sauce and papa's cheese blend..."

"Four pieces of bacon on the left half..."
