(6) upcoming party ||chap 4||ruby janes backstory/summer camp

*'after like one week, it's finally for school which Ruby isn't excited about... ruby is in her bed sleeping until someone comes towards her and shakes her, Ruby gasps getting scared and looks at the person, she then says "Gary..." the boys names appears to be Gary, Ruby then says "what do you want, brother." Gary appears to be her brother, Gary then says "are you dumb, did you forget it's Monday?" Ruby eyes widen and says "it's Monday?!" Gary nods and throws her clothes to her and says "hurry!" After a few minutes Ruby gets dressed into new clothes and then comes downstairs, no time to eat for breakfast cause she isn't cooking or making any at all anyway, Ruby gets her backpack and then walks to the car and gets inside, Gary is driving and she's in the passenger seat, Gary then says "we were almost late." Ruby scoffed, Gary started driving to school... after a few minutes they get there and Ruby gets out of the car and walks in the school, though she has this throbbing headache which for some reason been there for one week and it hurts super bad to the point she zones out in the most randomly times, she goes to her locker and rests her head onto it until... someone scares her and she flinches and looks behind just to literally see cherry, cherry laughs and Ruby says "Cherry that isn't funny." Cherry then says "well it was to me." Ellie then comes walking behind her and rests her chin on her shoulder, Ruby sighs and says "well what do you want?" Cherry then says "well, I actually just wanted to scare you since you've been paranoid these few days." Ruby scoffs knowing that this would be a daily day joke, cherry laughs and walks away with Ellie... Payton then comes next to her and says "you look like you're in a bad mood." Ruby nods and says "well I kinda am..." Payton giggles and says "well make sure you also don't get hit by a bus." Ruby scoffs and Payton walks away outside of the school... and almost gets hit by the bus, Ruby eyes widened as Payton literally almost jinxed her self, Ruby then walks away to her class thinking she should go Early...'*

*'ruby goes in her class room seeing Leah and Lucy sitting next to each other talking, Ruby then sits down in the back and a guy with short blond messy hair sits down next to her, Ruby really didn't want to sit next to him and instead wanted to sit next to Lucy or at least Leah but they're sitting next to each other which is great... but not very great for Ruby, Ruby sighed until the bell rang and finally all of the class came in, and sadly the teacher started yapping about the lesson that probably nobody is gonna use in their life's important at all in their future life like literally at all... the teacher keeps explaining though after 20 minutes they were done... ruby then taps Payton In front of her on the shoulder and Payton looks behind seeing Ruby, Payton then says "yeah?" Ruby then says "are you coming to the party?" Payton eyes squint and says "what party?" Ruby scoffs and says "mine." Payton nods and says "oh yeah, we're all going, promise." Ruby smiles and nods then sits back onto her chair, Ruby goes back to working on whatever they are working on...'*

*'after a few hours, schools done, Ruby goes outside having this headache again... she groans and holds her forehead until someone taps onto her shoulder and she flinches and gasps and then looks behind to see it was Gary, Ruby then says "Jesus Gary.." Gary then says "hop into the car." Ruby nods and then says "you know I'm having a party tonight?" Gary groans and says "gosh you women." Ruby smiles and giggles a little bit and goes inside of Gary's car, Gary starts the car engine and then starts driving back home, Ruby sighs knowing that during the party with so much people, loud noises, bright lights, alcohol will make her headache will 4x even worse... after a few minutes they get to the house and Ruby goes inside and calls Payton by the telephone, Payton answers and says "Ello?" Ruby then says "the party..." Payton nods and says "yeah right, I'm getting ready-" ruby then says "is my friends coming as well?"  Payton then says "yeah most of them, I'm not sure about Jonathan though." Ruby's eyes widen and says "Jonathan? Why won't he Jonathan coming over?" Payton then says "his mom is gone and he has to take care of the house but he's still deciding." Ruby sighs of sadness then says "well I hope he comes to the party.." Payton nods again and says "oh yeah right, let's hope." Ruby then says "yeah yeah, I gotta hang up now." Ruby hangs up and then looks down at the kitchen counter, why wont Jonathan come? She'd wish he was gonna come but sadly that wish wasn't granted and probably jinxed, maybe she shouldn't overthink about it to much cause it will upset her more if she keeps thinking about it... Gary then comes to her and says "you alright?" Ruby nods and says "y-yeah.." Gary shakes his head and says "you don't look alright." Ruby then sits on the kitchen counter and says "it's just about the party-" Gary interrupts her before she could even finish her whole sentence saying "what about the party." Ruby groans and says "you just interrupted me.." Gary then says "sorry..!" Ruby rolls her eyes and then continues her sentence saying "what I was about to say... that about the party, my new boyfriend who I had a crush on for years, he isn't coming-" Gary scoffs and says "seriously? He's probably making out with some other chick." Ruby looks at Gary and says "hey! He is not, and also don't say that..." Gary giggles and says "oh my bad then miss perfect of bloomsider." Gary then walks away upstairs and Ruby gets kind of mad at him for even assuming that at all, why would Jonathan make out with some other girl even though they've just been together for just 3 weeks? Since summer camp as well...'*
