Eunchae
"Hong Eunchae!"
A warm hand grasps my arm, pausing me in my footsteps. don't turn around, don't turn around. eunchae if you do then you're the biggest idiot on earth.
"Eunchae, do you have a minute to talk." He asks. "Give me a minute, no five minutes. It's been a long time, hasn't it?"
I start to pull away, but his grasp on my arm just tightens, causing me to turn around to face him. Darn. I look everywhere else except his face, I don't want to even try to know the outcome if I do. It'll just prove to him that I'm still weak and that his speculations are right.
"Eunchae.. How have you been?" He starts off shyly, "I read the news of you becoming into Music Banks MC, but I didn't know that I'd meet you so soon."
I don't answer back, and move my arm around to motion for him to let go. He takes the hint and frees my arm from his grasp. I rub my arm, now red from his grasp and flop it back to my side.
"Do I know you?" I ask, taking the courage to finally meet him in the eye. Taking in that gorgeous face he inherited, and play-boy charm he adopted. "I don't quite remember who you are." His smile drops, and he looks away rummaging through his hair.
"Eunchae."
"Kim Sunwoo-ssi. Are you interested in me?" I ask, and he looks at me startled, "I'd have to reject your interest in me. You're unfortunately not my type, and ... You're a tad bit too old for me."
He grimaces, shaking his head, returning back to his stable stance. His fake one. The one he gives once he doesn't want to take your bull.
"You've.. grown a bit mean since we last met eunchae" I gasp, looking at him shocked, there's no way this man, out of all the people just said that to me.
"You're impossible. You're five minutes are up." I respond, turning back to walk away. He grabs my arm again, pulling me to an unknown direction.
"What are you doing?!" I frantically whisper, watching all the other people look at us in confusion.
"We need to talk." Sunwoo says, closing the door behind him and sitting me down on the couch. I sigh looking away, he still hasn't changed his stubbornness.
"what do you want to talk about"
"I-" He pauses, taking his ringing phone out of his pocket and groans in frustration, he stands up, not letting his sight off me before answering the call. I sigh, rolling my eyes, turning away from him.
"Hyung, what do you mean? No-no- there's nothing going on between me and lees-" Sunwo pauses, pacing in frustration before finally heading outside the room. I take a few moments to process what just happened, sighing in confusion. that's so typical. what did I even expect. I think as I start to leave the room.
"Oh- Hong Eunchae?" Eric says, opening the door and I look up surprised, to see my ex best friend of 13 years appear in front of me. Eric, Sunwoo(s) best friend, also bandmate and also a person who witnessed everything go downhill years ago. "What are you doing here?" He asks, and I sigh shaking my head.
"Why don't you ask your friend, once he comes back." He still looks confused and very unaware of the situation, so I add, "Tell him that I don't want anything to do with him again."
