Alright so this will happen at
The end of each set of tapes.
This is mostly here to help
Understand some stuff like
"Facts and help" but for things
                        That I can't explain in a short
                                 Summary /want to
                        Explain in more detail. Each
                     Will have two that explains things
                     Base on that set of tape/something
                       That isn't in the tapes and will
                        Also have 2 that kinda act as
                        Teasers for later sets of tapes
                          And might contain a more
                                    Fun one as well

(Side note if your wondering what the first set of tapes is called there called SET UP.)

NUMBER 1 You! the person that is hearing the tapes.

Alright first thing is who is actually hear the tapes. There are three options here

1: it's a character you have that would have reason to either have them or were given them by something and is hearing them willingly. If you pick this than anything in you au is to be used. If your character has knew or was friends to the Aftons then ignore the part of the description that implies that who ever is hearing them doesn't know the Aftons. Anyways if you pick this option than just switch it to better suit your au.

2: it's Michael that's hearing them. Same as first ignore the same part of the description. If you pick this one then after Michael gets scooped and ennard leave he somehow finds the tapes. How he found them is unknown maybe it was by pure luck or someone left them somewhere he would find then. Michael is hearing them to try and Understand what lead to his father's heinous acts and to piece together what happened to Elizabeth to make her who she was when he last saw her.

3: faceless investigator. You where hired by a specific shady company to go and collect the tapes. You were able to get them surprisingly easily (besides nearly getting torn to pieces by a couple of animatronics) but before turning them in you decide to hear what they have. After each tape your curiosity gets the better and makes you put the next one in to see what the hell is happening. Faz-I mean the shady company doesn't like what your doing and have sent someone to go and collect what's now legally there's to have.

Anyways if your wondering no the listener won't have a big, or any role in the story. This is more here just the answer it because it mostly won't be answered in the actual story.

NUMBER 2 THE UNKNOWN GHOST

Alright second thing to talk about is the weird static the seems to censor some things in tape. Here a in universe explanation for why that is happening.

A unknown spirit seems to be messing with the tapes. You don't really know why it's doing this? At some point it seems to try and paint William in a bad/evil light but at the same time either shows other characters in similar positions to William and or worst. It also seems to have some type of power. Sometimes it cut in other snippets of different tapes, yet sometimes it show you things that couldn't have been recorded. It doesn't seem hostile but you should stay rather cautious. It seems to also cause some people's name to get blurred out in the audio logs. Who is the one messing with the tapes? Who knows all you have to work with is a single tape labeled IT'S ME.
(Side note any set of dialogue that seems out of place such as tape 3 ending is just a more easier way of understanding who's talking. And if it goes on for a while then let's just say that the spirit has given you a transcript of the dialogue with names)

NUMBER 3 WILLIAM AND THE FUNTIMES

Alright first one is about the funtimes. The funtimes play a pretty big part in later set of tapes so this is a hint to why they act the way they do. (Quick side note if one of these fact/semi teasers talk about a character or group of animatronics then they most likely will play a big part in a set of tapes/story)

Each of the funtimes (in my au at least) are in a sense a part of Williams soul placed in machine body.starting with the least important to the story to the kinda? Most most of these one will be short to not spoil a lot.

1 Funtime foxy: foxy represent Williams showman persona he would show to the public. A persona which was loud and brash. Only caring for one self and what they wish to do.

2 ballora: ballora represent how Williams blinded by his grief in to becoming the monster he was bound to become.(side not ballora & Funtime foxy won't play a big roll at all there more here because I'm talking about all the Funtime's)

3 Funtime Freddy: Freddy is more then anything else Williams insanity & cruelty. Barely kept in check most of the time by a single roadblock. If ever separated from that little bunny who know what he would do.

4 Baby: Baby her self is Williams manipulative side. Willing to do anything to get her goals & willing to screw anyone over. Mixed together with Elizabeth they would become ironically a mirror to him.

Number 4 ELIZABETH MENTALITY (PD)

Alright to the final of the first EXTRAS. I will keep this short because Elizabeth mentality is important to a later set of tapes.

Elizabeth was never a mentally well kid in life or death. When she was younger she always need validation from those she looked up to and would throw tantrums if she didn't.....Until Evan came into the picture. After Evan was born thing would change for the better? Who knows. Evan from a young age would always cling to her for support and protection. This cause Elizabeth to become very protective of Evan (even if was a little to overbearing) after the Big bite Elizabeth would become very closed off to anyone she use to be close to. Even beside that she gain a very short fuse. Yelling & picking fights with a lot of people even her own father. After her death-(REST OF DATA HAS BEEN REDACTED TO PROVIDE SAFETY TO THE VIEWER OF THIS TAPE )

The original fun fact was going to be the Elizabeth one but I used it in last chapter so sorry:<
