As she stepped out of her office's gate, the cool night air enveloped her like a shroud, y/n quickened her speed , her heels clicking on the deserted sidewalk,

Walking for some minutes she felt some presence behind but couldn't dare to look, frightened she quickened her speed more while presence behind her started to felt closer,

As she came to the bus stop she stopped as she had wait for the bus but felt immensely scared to even Stop there, her thinking came to an halt when she saw a car approaching her, as the mirror slide, her heavy breathing became normal,

"Need a ride?" He asked, his voice low and smooth as silk,

Her heart skipped a beat , she hasn't expected him to approach her especially after the way she's treating him for months,

She didn't said anything but thought to keep her ego aside and go with as it was hella scary for her to be alone, and without saying anything she opened the car door and sat on the passanger seat herself while he shocked cause he didn't thought that she'd actually agree though she didn't even talked,

He started the car and it goes slowly and peacefully on that lonely road, he kept taking her glances again and again while she just looked out of the window when suddenly the car stopped and he wasn't the one who stopped it,

"Crap... what happened now?" Jungkook exclaimed frustrated,

"Let me check" he get out of the car while she did the same and stood behind him looking him doing something with the car's machinary which she didn't understood as she didn't knew how to drive a car,

After some time he looked behind finding her already looking at him as if asking 'is it okay or not' and he answered,

"The car's dead, let me call the driver to bring other car-" she stopped him in between saying

"Let it be, we can go by bus no?"

"B-bus" he asks being surprised,

"Yes bus, what"

" Nothing....if you want let's go"

They both stopped at the bus stop waiting for the bus to arrive,

She got inside first when the bus arrived and swiped her transportation card and then he get inside and took out his black card,

"Sir we don't accept foreign cards" the driver spoke to him,

"Oo then-" and suddenly she came running there,

"Don't you transportation card?" She asked,

"No"

"Cash?" She again asked to which he pressed his lips in thin line,

"No"

"Sorry aajussi, here he'll pay with cash" and she put money into the money box,

"Let's go"

She took him by his wrist and sat on the window seat while he sat beside her,

"You haven't travelled by bus?" She asked looking at him,

"Actually yes I've never"

"That's why you didn't know how to pay" he nodded his head,

Soon they reached at their stop and they have to walk for twenty minutes to reach their destiny,

Both of them started walking side by side feeling the cold breeze touching their skins, if was a daily routine for y/n to travel like this and walking to her reach, but it was all new for jungkook,

He felt a sense of reliefness walking with in the cold night alone, he felt their no one, not his to judge for what he's doing and what he likes to do, he wanted to live in the moment with her, forever

She caressed her hands together feeling cold which obviously didn't go unnoticed by him,

She stripped off his overcoat and gave it to her,

"It's okay, I'm habitual of going like This, it's just little cold wind"

"But you mind get cold" he snapped back,

"I'm sure I would not but I'm not sure about you, it's your first time right, walking like this"

"I know but I have a good immune system, I don't easily get fever or cold, take it please"

"But I always go like this, it's nothing different from other days"

"But today I'm with you, it is diffrent"

"You won't always be there, isn't it better to not change my habit for a day" he felt his heart beating rapidly at her sentence realising that now it's Just five months left untill she'll leave,

"But... it's not bad to change some habits for good"

"Is there anything good in spoiling my daily life routine, I don't think so"

"Maybe you or me don't know but some changes are meant to happen" she didn't understood his single word,

"Please y/n take it, and you paid for my fare right, think it as a refund" she couldn't brag more about her habits and all so she decided to take his coat,

The change was quite and hidden thing but it marked the beginning of a new time in his life, the icey shield around his heart was starting to crack, and the warmth of the human connection was slowly slipping in"
