Two months flew by in a whirlwind of laughter, tears, and milestones. Felix couldn't believe his little Yojin was almost a year old. It felt like just yesterday he was holding his newborn son in his arms, wondering how he would navigate fatherhood without Hyunjin by his side.

But with the support of his friends and family, Felix had found his footing. He had grown into his role as a single father, and Yojin had brought immense joy into his life.

As Yojin's first birthday approached, Felix felt a mix of emotions. He was proud of the little person Yojin was becoming, grateful for the love and support of those around him, and a hint of sadness that Hyunjin wasn't there to share in the milestones.

Minho, sensing Felix's emotions, was always there to offer a listening ear and a comforting hug. "Hyunjin may not be here physically, but he's always with us , with you and yojin," Minho would say, his words a gentle reminder that Hyunjin's love for Felix and Yojin never wavered.

Minho, who was just coming back to check on Felix and Yojin, was greeted with a warm smile by Felix.

"Hi, hyung!"
Felix beamed, his eyes shining with happiness.

Minho's face lit up with a quiet smile as he uttered,
"Hi, bokie," his voice filled with affection.

With a happy smile hiding in his heart, he walked towards Felix and engulfed him in a tight hug.

"You are so strong,"
he muttered sweetly to his brother.

Felix was overwhelmed, his brother's hug threatening to melt him right there. He could cry at any moment, but he had to hold himself together and be even stronger, for himself and his baby, Yojin.

As they pulled back, Felix smiled, trying to compose himself. "Thanks, hyung,"
he said, his voice a little shaky.
"I'm just trying to do my best for Yojin."

Minho's smile was warm and encouraging.
"You're doing great, Felix. I'm so proud of you."

But a quick, sudden thought struck Felix, filling him with a pang of guilt.

He pouted,
"I'm so sorry, hyung. I feel like I've been burdening you with my responsibilities and stealing the time that you're supposed to spend with Jisung."

Felix's eyes dropped, his voice laced with regret.
"I know you two are supposed to be focusing on each other, but instead, you're always here taking care of me and Yojin. I feel terrible about it."

Minho's expression softened, and he placed a reassuring hand on Felix's shoulder. "Felix, you're not a burden to me or Jisung. We're family, and we're in this together, and we're happy to help in any way we can,"

Minho continued.
"Jisung understands, and he's always willing to lend a hand. We're a team, Felix, and we support each other through thick and thin."

Felix nodded, feeling a bit better.
"I know, hyung. It's just...I don't want to be a burden. I want to be able to take care of myself and Yojin on my own."

Minho smiled.
"You're doing great, Felix. And we're not going anywhere. We're here to support you, no matter what. Besides, Yojin loves spending time with us, don't you, little one?"

Yojin, who was playing with blocks on the floor, looked up and giggled. " ..sungie!"

Felix laughed.
"I think that's a yes."

Minho chuckled. "Definitely a yes. Now, let's focus on the positives. We're a family, and we're in this together. And we'll get through everything as long as we have each other."

Felix smiled, feeling grateful for Minho's unwavering support. "Thanks, hyung. That means a lot to me."

A Month Before Yojin's Birthday

It was a serene afternoon, with calm weather and a sense of tranquility in the air. Felix decided to take a stroll to a nearby cafe with Yojin and Kkami. As they walked, Felix couldn't help but feel a sense of joy, watching his little family enjoy the moment.

As they sat at the cafe, Felix's gaze wandered to a nearby couple with a little girl. They looked like the epitome of happiness, a perfect family enjoying each other's company. Felix felt a pang of envy, his heart aching with longing. He wished Hyunjin was there with them, completing their family.

A tear slipped down Felix's cheek as he quickly looked away, trying to compose himself. He forced a soft, painful smile as he gazed at Yojin, his heart heavy with memories of Hyunjin. He remembered their conversations, their dreams of a future together, now cruelly denied by fate.

Felix lifted Yojin onto his lap, holding him close as tears streamed down his face. The ache in his heart was palpable, a constant reminder of what could never be.

In that moment, Felix was torn between the joy of being with Yojin and the sorrow of losing Hyunjin. He held his son tight, cherishing the memories of the past and the fleeting present, all while yearning for a future that would never be.

It was the day before Yojin's birthday. It was a sweet day, and Felix was excited and proud for himself , for yojin.

In the middle day, while minho and jisung, along with other friends, were out together planning about the arrangement of Yojin's Birthday celebration.

Felix, stay at home with yojin in a while later  after putting yojin to sleep. As the afternoon shone brightly, felix considered taking a stroll on the garden, but as soon as he opened the door, he was met with a basket of gifts?

Confusion etched on his face, Felix scanned the surroundings, wondering who could have left the basket. But there was no one in sight. His eyes returned to the basket, and a short smile played on his lips as he thought, "A surprise?"

Assuming it was from one of his friends, Felix picked up the basket and closed the door, stepping back inside. Unbeknownst to him, a figure emerged from the shadows, dressed in a black outfit with a white-grey hoodie and a mask covering their face. They stood afar, yet close enough to see the closed door, their gaze fixed on it with an air of mystery.

The stranger's voice lingered in the air, heavy with emotion. "Felix...." The word hung like a whispered secret, filled with longing and regret. The stranger's eyes, hidden behind the mask, seemed to bore into the closed door, as if willing Felix to appear.

But then, without another word, the stranger turned and disappeared into the shadows, leaving behind only the faintest whisper of their presence. The mask, the black outfit, and the emotions all vanished, leaving Felix none the wiser.

The only clue was the basket of gifts, still sitting on the porch, a mysterious and unexplained surprise. Felix, still inside, remained oblivious to the stranger's brief visit, unaware of the emotional storm that had just passed.

Yojin's Birthday Party

Upstairs, Felix, Minho, and Jisung were busy dressing Yojin in his birthday outfit. Felix couldn't help but feel a mix of emotions as he looked at his little boy, growing up so fast.

"He's so handsome, just like his dad,"
Minho said, smiling, Felix smiled too, as he thought about hyunjin, emotions erupted. His brother noticed that.

"Okay, little one, let's get you dressed,"
Minho said, distracting Felix from his emotions.

As they finished dressing Yojin, Felix couldn't help but whisper sweet things to his son.

"You know, Yojin, you're the best thing that's ever happened to me. I promise to always be there for you, no matter what."
Yojin giggled and hugged Felix's neck.

"I love you , baby boy,"
Felix replied, his heart swelling with love.
