2002

William and Catherine had been in a relationship for some time. They loved spending time together, watching movies, talking for hours on end, or just sitting in comfortable silence. Whenever the opportunity arose, they shared moments of intimacy, exchanging affection, long passionate kisses, and playful hands exploring each other's bodies. But Catherine always interrupted when she sensed that lust was overpowering her loving heart.

Fearing that William might think she didn't desire him, she revealed to him that she wanted him just as much but wanted their "first time" to be special and not rushed in the heat of the moment.

William, the gentleman he was, understood and was lovingly respectful of his Kate.

He wanted to take their relationship to the next level and knew that with Catherine, it had to be special. If that's what she wanted, that's what he would do.

Taking advantage of a Saturday when they would both be alone in the apartment, he decided it would be the perfect time, and he would take the initiative.

He arranged a dinner with Catherine but didn't tell her how it would be, as he wanted it to be a surprise. He simply said, "Babykins, I've planned a special night for us," and she gladly accepted.

William wasn't skilled in the kitchen and even considered a romantic dinner at a restaurant. But he didn't want their special night to be ruined by paparazzi or appear in the newspapers the next day. So, he decided to keep it simple, avoiding both media headlines and potentially setting the kitchen on fire as had happened before.

Since they shared the apartment with other roommates, he decided to prepare everything in his room to avoid being questioned and potentially spoiling the surprise.

When night fell and their friends had gone out to party at a random pub, Catherine finally arrived.

A small table in the corner near the open window held some foods for the couple: cheeses, bread, various fruits, a jug of water, a bottle of wine, and whiskey.

Facing the curtained window was a large and seemingly very comfortable bed.

Catherine approached and gently touched the pure silk sheets that covered it, immediately imagining how that fabric would feel against her bare skin... She held a glass of wine, while William had a whiskey, and their favorite songs played softly in the background.

— I hope you like it. — William spoke, pulling her out of her thoughts. She turned to look at him and noticed the slight blush on his face, as nervous as he had been the day they shared their first kiss, embarrassed at how quickly he became excited just by touching her. But the truth was, she wanted him just as much... and had been eagerly awaiting this moment.

When William and Catherine felt they had talked, eaten, and drunk enough, her eyes sparkled at him, clearly signaling that it was time for them to take the next step in their relationship.

She approached him slowly and touched his face, admiring his tense jaw, the slight blush on his cheeks, and his very blue, shining eyes, along with his blonde hair, which she soon realized she loved to caress. And so, she did, receiving an appreciative smile from the man who pressed his forehead to hers, making contact increasingly inevitable, their blue and green eyes never leaving each other's gaze.

— You're the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. — he murmured, enchanted.

— How can you be so sure, Mr. Wales? — Catherine laughed, raising an eyebrow.
