Nexus X Reader!

This is an AU where Nexus is evil but then gets reformed by the Reader. This is my first time writing about Nexus, so hopefully I did alright with his character!

This chapter will contain some violence, a musical number performed by (Y/N) hence the title, and romance afterwards. There will not be any smut, but in the next Nexus chapter there will be.

Half of this chapter will be written in the third person point of view, and the other half will be written in the second person point of view.

Three Months Ago Before New Moon Becomes Nexus

"Hey Moon!" (Y/N) called out to her best friend. She had met Moon during one of his adventures, and the two of them got along right away. The two friends spent a majority of their time in Moon's lab working on Science stuff, so they rarely hung out with Sun and the others.

"Oh, hey! Where were you? You missed out on something really cool!" Moon exclaimed excitedly to (Y/N), wiping the sweat off his clothes with a damp towel. The female animatronic/woman chuckled at her best friend's excitement, but she just sat down and listened to what her best friend had to tell her.

Even if (Y/N) wasn't in the mood to hear Moon ramble on about how great Science is, she would always listen to him with vast interest. Besides Solar, she was the only one who had an actual interest in Science and Technological stuff. Moon admired his best friend's patience with him, and it wasn't long before he started to develop a crush on her.

When it was (Y/N)'s turn to talk about her day, Moon listened with extreme curiosity and excitement. Though he was Aro/Ace with no interest in being in a romantic relationship with anyone, his mechanical heart always skipped a beat whenever he was around his best friend. A light, cobalt blue blush appeared on Moon's faceplate, although he didn't notice it.

"Moon? You okay? You've been staring at me the whole time without saying anything," (Y/N) spoke up, catching her best friend's attention almost immediately. Moon quickly shook himself out of his daze and rubbed the back of his head out of embarrassment.

"Yeah, yeah! I'm okay! Guess I just zoned out during your story is all," Moon answered, not noticing that (Y/N) was now sitting directly in front of him with a worried expression.

"You've never zoned out before though! Are you sure you're okay?" the female animatronic/woman asked her companion, moving her face/faceplate closer to his to make sure her friend truly was okay.

Unbeknownst to (Y/N), Moon had a massive blush covering his faceplate due to how close she was to him, and it wasn't until he had fallen out of his chair that she noticed his blush. After helping her friend up, she looked at him with a teasing smirk plastered on her lips.

"Don't think I don't see that blush on your faceplate Moon.~ Looks to me that you have a crush on someone.~ So, care to tell me who's captured your Aro/Ace heart?"~ (Y/N) teased her best friend, not knowing that she was the very one who had stolen Moon's robotic heart.

Moon was a flustered mess from not only his friend's teasing remarks, but also because she was currently standing slightly over him in a dominating manner. He wanted nothing more than for her to kiss him right then and there, but (Y/N) was oblivious to his romantic interest in her, so she'd never kiss him unless she actually knew he liked her that way.
