"Alright class, why don't we start by introducing ourselves. We will go around the room, you're going to stand and introduce yourself, with a little fact about yourself." He sighed at sat down at his desk. "We're gonna make our way around the classroom, so we will start right here." He pointed to the student nearest him.
He had a snakelike pattern that he followed that ended up with me being last. I stood up when it was my turn and he didn't even bother to look at me. He was holding up his attendance sheet, not bothering to look at any of us.
"My name is Rina Kabuki." That earned me his gaze. He looked up at me, I was the farthest away from him, but I swear I could see a smirk from behind his mask.
"Oh, well if it isn't Miss Tumbles A Lot."
"I wouldn't be talking, Mister I'm Almost Fifteen Minutes Late To Class." He scoffed.
"At least I know where I'm going and don't crash into people." He retorted.
My mind flashed back to what Naruto and Sasuke had said. I remember Sasuke sighing.
"Well you see, Kakashi is kind of a bully. He's probably going to call you out in front of everyone."
"Show him up. You gotta have something that will impress him and shut him up." Naruto added. So that's it; all I need to do is impress him and it will get him to be quiet. He's a theater teacher, so I know exactly how to continue this fight.
"Hey there Monsieur what's new with you? Plotting to overthrow the state? You still pretending to be poor? Come on, I know your grandpa's rich!" A smirk sat on my lips as his eye widened and then narrowed at me.
"Les Mis huh?" He gave a deep sigh. "Won't take a franc that I've not earned. All of those bridges have been burned."
"I like the way you talk Monsieur!" In reality, I did. He was impressive. I twisted a strand of my hair around my finger, waiting for his next move.
"I like the way you always tease!" He responded. I smiled.
"Little he know. Little he sees." I replied. He hummed.
"Not bad. Alright," he sighed a bit; was he going to continue it? "You try my patience.. Make your choice!" The Phantom of the Opera, interesting choice.
"Pitiful creature of darkness, what kind of life have you known?" There was another line that followed, but I didn't want Kakashi Hatake to know that he's not alone- that's all I wanted to do, single him out.
"You're looking good Rizz." Grease.
"Eat your heart out." I looked away with a smile.
"But sloppy seconds ain't my style." I looked at him with a glare before he let out a chuckle. "Not bad, Kabuki."
"Not bad yourself, Hatake." I replied back. He looked down onto his attendance sheet and made a mark by what I assumed to be my name.
"You can sit." He said, looking back at me. It was hard to read his expression; have I shut him up? Did I win? Just as I was about to sit down, the whole class started clapping and cheering.
"Nice job!"
"That was amazing!"
"You really put up a fight with Kakashi-sensei!" They all said. I blushed, embarrassed by all their compliments and attention.
"T-Thanks, everyone." I said after their cheering stopped.
"Alright, alright, that's enough of that." Kakashi said, standing. "So this isn't going to be a blow off class, so those of who registered with me for a blow off class, you're welcome to leave right now." There was a bit of silence and a couple students actually packed their things up and left. Once they left, he went over to the door and closed it behind them.
