Is Paul Mescal father to Elsie Brydon's Baby? Written by Shannon Brooks, Founder of Scandal Street.
Like any Book adaptations enjoyer, I became absolutely transfixed by both Paul Mescal in Normal People, and Elsie Brydon in The Last Kingdom.
Popular Instagram Blind Item account Deuxmoi recently shared a blind item they received which many online users speculated to be Paul Mescal and Elsie Bryson. (Screenshot attached below)

Deuxmoi alleged on their podcast, that during the 2024 BAFTA Film awards after party, Mescal and Brydon danced with one another and retreated back to his place where they presumably had intercourse. This aligns with how far along Brydon has stated she is.
Both Brydon and Mescal are in relationships. Mescal has been with Gracie Abrams since June of this year, and Brydon had been with Willie for six years before breaking up in October of 2023, only to publically announce their rekindling in September of this year. Brydon's relationship status aligns with the blind item quite well.
Some online users spectate that Brydon's close friend Shannon Langdon, an influencer whose career only grew so big because of her ex boyfriend YouTuber Chris MD.

Langdon and Brydon met through their then boyfriends back in 2017-2018, they've seemingly been good friends since. Langdon, who's following is 135k, may be jealous of Brydon's 1.4M following, or she may be trying to get her name out there with the blow out of the paternity reveal.
Either way, given the clues Deuxmoi has given, I'm almost sure that the two involved parties in the blind are Mescal and Brydon.
