Chapter 1

The Babysitter

Lexi's POV:
I threw on dark jean shorts, a white lace flowy crop top, and my white high top converse. I was late. I ran across my room and grabbed my phone. I sprinted down the stairs into the garage. I picked up my clear penny board with neon pink wheels. I hopped on it and rode to her house.

Once I rode to the front door, I rang the door bell. I heard some running and the door swung open.

"Hi Lexi!" Aaliyah said smiling.
"Hey!" I responded returning the smile.
"Come inside! Sorry brother is home but he's leaving in 10 minutes." She said taking my hand walking me inside. I've seen a quick glance of her brother and follow him on social media but I've never really seen him. His beauty caught me off guard. I saw him sitting on the couch before I stepped inside. I was staring I tripped walking in to the door. He looked up his phone and smirked at me. Aaliyah took my hand and helped me up. I was in shock.
"Aaliyah, aren't you too old for a babysitter?" He asked. His voice was so smooth like honey. My heart melted a little.
"Shawn! You know mom! And introduce yourself!" Aaliyah yelled at him.
"Hi I'm Lexi." I said awkwardly. I stared at my feet.
"Well I'm shawn." He said staring at me. Aaliyah pulled me behind her heading to her room.

I couldn't stop thinking about him. How his hair sat, his eyes, his whole face, and his voice. I wasn't focusing. I tried to get him out of my head. He wouldn't leave it.
