The Colonial One hovered in the deep void of space, packed and boarded with children and adults alike. No one said a thing. No one really knew where they were headed, but wherever it was it would be their new home.
Muttering and whispers started running across the ship. The news was already spreading.. The 12 Colonies have been nuked by Cylon enemies. Everyone looked at each other nervously and felt fear and panic arise in their hearts. Their families, friends, homes, all wiped out. It was too late to go back now.
More news arises.. the president of the colonies had died in the attack. Citizens started to cry out and wail in terror, realizing the situation they were really in. However.. the children stayed calm.. none panicked. However, many did seem uncomfortable and frightened.
They knew they would be led to a new, and maybe better home.
Right?
