The idea of someone going missing at the same party I was at two days ago freaked me out. I was in my room hoping it was no one I knew, or in general no one. I just hope whoever went missing was found again and safe from the crazy maniac that took them in the first place.
"There's no need to be worried the whole day about it, it'll continue to ruin your day if you keep it in your mind." Giyuu reassured, looking at me with his usual sad look.
We sat at a table near the corner of the coffee store, our table small enough for just us two and not out in the open for others.
I sighed and knew he was right. "I know, but knowing that someone went missing at the same party I was at worries me."
"Then you should had never went." He stated, looking back down at his drink he ordered earlier and ignoring eye contact.
I looked down at my phone that rested on the table in front of me and tried to look for more information about the missing person, wanting to know if I knew them or not. Nothing new was added and I got nothing out of it, and so I tried to let it go.
Giyuu looked back at me and noticed that I was still thinking about the whole situation, and I guess he had nothing else to say when he stayed silent for a moment before adding, "At least you're safe."
I looked back up at him and smiled before I was going to say something back. I was cut off when I heard my name being called out from the entrance of the cafe, turning my head to see Rengoku walking to the table where me and Giyuu were.
"Y/N! Giyuu." He said, his voice not as enthusiastic when he said Giyuu's name. "What are you both doing here?"
I smiled at Rengoku and let out a breath. "Just, thinking about the missing person's report. I'm worried that whoever was the cause of who went missing at the party we were at could be close, but they probably left far from here."
Rengoku hummed, his hand coming to my shoulder and rubbing it gently. "Don't worry, I doubt they would ever take you." He said, his voice quieter and soft.
A random shiver ran through my body and I looked at Rengoku, his eyes seeming unusual. The way he looked at me made a random jolt go through my body, not liking the look in his eyes.
Giyuu noticed my sudden change in demeanor and looked at Rengoku. "Kyojuro, do you have anything to do today?" Giyuu glanced at me before looking back at Rengoku.
Rengoku looked at him and thought about it, his hand still resting on my shoulder. "Not any that I can remember, which is why I plan on staying with you guys for the rest of the day." He smiled.
Before I was going to make up an excuse to leave, Giyuu did it for me. "Me and Y/N were about to leave anyway and I was going to go and drop her off at her place." He got up and threw his empty cup of coffee.
I immediately got up and threw away my empty cup of coffee as well and went to stand next to Giyuu. "I don't have time to hang out anymore today since I'm busy." I didn't look at Rengoku's eyes, hoping it didn't throw off the lie I made.
He stayed silent for a couple seconds, the silence making it awkward for all three of us. "Okay." Was all he said as he then turned and walked out the cafe, my shoulders relaxing.
Giyuu looked at me and noticed the way I relaxed more. "Is there something between you and him?" He asked, his eyes locked on me as if he knows there's something between us.
I thought about it, not knowing why I usually have chills around him. He's never actually done anything to me, but something about the way he looks and speaks to me, or how we somehow manage to hangout coincidently is out of the ordinary.
