The morning after the game of capture the flag, everyone was seated in the mess hall as all the campers ate their breakfast. A horn suddenly sounded, causing everyone to look up at the source.

Percy walked over to Luke, confused. "The horn for breakfast already went. What's happening?"

Luke just grinned down at Percy. "That's the horn for when campers have returned from a quest. Come with me, you're going to want to meet her." He guided the younger boy to the front of the growing crowd.

Percy looked to see what everyone was talking about, only to see a teenage girl dressed in Greek armor, making her way to the masses. "Who is she?"

"That is Selene, the daughter of Hera." Luke grinned as he gave the boy a light push forward.

Selene stopped walking when Percy stumbled in front of her. "Excuse me? May I help you?" Her eyes glanced at Luke for a second before going back to the pre-teen in front of her.

Percy panicked slightly. "My name is Percy Jackson, I'm friends with Luke. He pushed me forward."

"Well, Percy Jackson. I'm guessing you're new to camp?" She asked. "Have you been claimed? Or are you still waiting for the gods?"

"My father is Poseidon." Percy spoke. "Luke said you came back from a quest? What are quests like?"

"Eh, just had to slay a giant with Ares." She shrugged. "I can tell you more later if you would like, but first I need some food." She patted Percy's shoulder and made her way to Luke.

Luke grinned and wrapped an arm around Selene's shoulders. "So, how did things go with Ares?" He walked with her as she got a plate of food.

"How do you expect?" She scoffed. "That man is constantly making wars on the internet, so he was basically no help at all. I did most of the work when he knew that it needed to be a combined effort for the quest to succeed."

"I'm not surprised." He then sat down with her, stealing some bacon off her plate.

"Luke!" She gasped as she took back her food. "Go get your own food, asshole."

"That's no fun, Sel." He murmured against her ear.

"I was gone for a week. You're acting as if I was gone for years." She teased before eating a bite of her food.

"It definitely felt longer than a week." Luke chuckled.

"Ew, gross. Stop it." Annabeth groaned as she joined the couple at the table. "I want to hear about this quest!"

"Only if you tell me about that Percy boy." Selene raised an eyebrow. "I didn't know you were a stalker, Annie."

The younger blonde blushed. "You know about that?"

Selene just laughed. "Luke told me over Iris Message a day or two ago. So, the son of Poseidon, huh? Sounds like forbidden romance." She teased.

Annabeth got Luke a glare, in which the boy put his hands up in surrender. "Hey, don't shoot the messenger." He joked.

"Ha ha, because your dad is the messenger god, so original." Annabeth rolled her eyes, plucking a strawberry from Selene's plate and eating it.

"You want to hear about the quest or not?" Selene asked, in which Annabeth nodded. "Then go get your little boyfriend. He wanted to know as well. Might as well do two birds with one stone."
