Mayumi and Haruto had been going strong for a few months now. They hadn't told anything to her parents yet. She knew her parents and were sure they would freak out if they found out she even had a boyfriend, let alone a guy three years older than her. The only people who knew were their friends, and they were sure they wouldn't spill anything.

As of late though, the two had been getting bolder and bolder. Midnight texts and secret kisses weren't enough for the pair anymore. Mayumi actually wanted to go on proper dates with Haruto, he wanted the same. So, they came up with a plan.

It was late evening, Mayumi was walking hand-in-hand with Haruto through the crowded city street. Iroha and Chizuru had agreed to cover for Mayumi, saying if her parents asked that she was studying with them. Mayumi had her doubts about the plan, however, her friends reassured her. "What are the chances your parents will find out? The city is huge, you'll be fine" they said. This was enough to calm her nerves and give her confidence to go on this date. Mayumi was thankful she had such great friends, she honestly didn't know what she would do without them.

The two had gone out for dinner at a popular ramen place and decided they wanted to wander around the area. That's how Mayumi and Haruto found themselves in a cute little arcade in the Akihabara area. The two were standing in front of this claw machine, trying to win one of the plush prizes inside.

Mayumi pouted as the prize slipped out of the claws grip one again. This was her third try, and she was starting to believe that the whole game was just rigged to make people spend their money.

Haruto let out a small chuckle at the girl's annoyance. "Here, you want me to try?" he asked, gazing over the smaller girl's shoulder.

Mayumi let out a huff, "Give it your best shot." The girl stepped aside as she let her boyfriend plop his token in and take the controls. Mayumi was smug that Haruto wasn't going to get it, she prepared herself to tease the older boy on his loss when she looked in front of her, her mouth gaping in shock.

"This is the one you wanted, right?" Haruto asked. Mayumi didn't have to look up to hear the smirk in his voice.

"Bu..But how? I was trying for like 10 minutes straight!" she stuttered out. Haruto laughed at the girl's reaction, "It's all in the hand movements".

Mayumi rolled her eyes at the boy's smugness. He ruffled her hair affectionately before bending down to grab the prize.

"Here you are, Yumi-chan," he said, giving her a mocking bow. She gently punched his arm, a smile ringing out of her face. Haruto feigned hurt, grabbing his arm and giving an exaggerated expression of hurt.
