Light filtered through the leaves of the Goshinboku, shining on Kagome as she meditated. It had been three days since she had been to the Taisho estate, and every day she spent some time meditating like she used to in the feudal era.

She breathed deeply as she focused on her reiki, manipulating it as she meditated. As she sat there, she began to feel the aura around her shift and stretch, making her frown. She felt around with her powers, and was startled when she felt another aura brush gently against her own.

Blue eyes snapped open, being greeted by a blank white space. Kagome stood quickly, looking around in confusion. She had just been beneath the sacred tree just moments before, so how could she have ended up in this space.

Kagome tensed, afraid that she had once again been pulled from her home and placed in an odd world. She spun around one more time, before a soft voice spoke up behind her.

“Kagome,” The voice whispered, making the girl spin back around.

Kagome gasped, her eyes widening when she saw three beautiful people behind her, dressed in intricate kimonos and armor. Their Holy aura instantly told the priestess who they were, prompting her to fall to her knees in a bow.

“Amaterasu-sama, Susanoo-sama, Tsukuyomi-sama,” Kagome greeted the three deities.

The Goddess who stood in the middle smiled kindly to the young woman, her golden eyes shining brightly.

“You may stand Kagome, Priestess of the Shikon Jewel.”

Kagome stood immediately, her eyes focused on the holy beings before her. Amaterasu, the woman who had spoken before, glided closer to the woman, her long black hair and gold and red kimonos swaying behind her.

“Amaterasu-sama, may I ask why you are here,” Kagome asked respectfully, surprised when the Goddess lifted her hand and placed it on her cheek.

The Sun Goddess smiled,” We are here to thank you, dear Kagome. Your sacrifices have helped the world in more ways than you know.”

“We also came to apologize,” The man to the Goddess's left spoke up, his soft voice caressing the Priestess's ear. Kagome turned to the Deity, his one hand using his Lilac kimono sleeve to cover his mouth. His deep black eyes bored into hers as she watched him, his long straight white hair flowing in a non existent breeze.

“Tsukuyomi-sama,” Kagome asked, confused as to what they would be apologizing to her for.

“You prayed to us to allow you to live in the feudal era with your friends, and we were unable to make that prayer a reality,” he explained, his brows dipping slightly in apology.

“You are needed in this time, as much as you were needed then,” Amaterasu spoke, pulling Kagome's attention back to her,” A foe will make itself known within this time, and the mortals need you and your power to help stop it.”

Kagome was taken aback, but it made sense as she thought about it. Many bad things had happened in the last several years, and while the heros had managed to stop it, there was only a matter of time before she would be needed again.

Kagome nodded, though she had an uncertain look on her face. Who could this foe be, and how would she know when they appeared? Would she have to wait until a massive war broke out halfway across the world, or would she be able to sense it?

“Don't look so worried,” Susanoo spoke up, his gravelly voice pulling Kagome's attention toward him.

He grinned at her crossing his arms, his shoulder armor on his otherwise bare chest catching the light. His sea green eyes caught hers.
