"venti, why don't u go outside and play with the other kids??" a woman kindly spoke to a 6 year old little boy.

"but i like drawing" the boy pouted. he took a yellow crayon from the box and began to fill in a sun. "yes, i know but it's fun to play outside! u can draw later, now go!!" she took the crayons from him and placed them on another desk. "aww" he pouted again. "go, on!" the woman said.

he got up from his seat and walked towards the door and was met with the sunlight beaming into his eyes.

the boy sighed as he walked out onto the playground. there were multiple kids playing outside. there were some on the playground, some playing tag and even hide and seek.

he noticed some kids playing tag on the field so the little boy walked over to them. as he approached them, the kids turned to look at him.

"can i play?.." the boy asked. the other kids looked at each other and started laughing. "only if u can make it to that wall before us" another boy spoke, pointing at a nearby building.

venti agreed and nodded his head, however before he could get ready, the kids ran towards the wall. "hey! u didn't say go!!" venti yelled, following after them.

once he caught up, the kids started laughing again. "oopsies! i guess u can't play with us! hahahaha!" they laughed.

venti stood there, emotionless. he was a rather, odd child. he rarely cried, laughed or genuinely smiled. when he tried to fake it, people could see right through it.

"we're trying to play tag, now shoo!" the kids laughed again. venti slowly walked away from the field with his head hung low.

he looked up to see what other kids were doing and what to play. he noticed the sandbox was empty and loved to play in there. he quickly skipped towards it before anyone else could to mark his territory.

he sat down in the sandbox and wrote 'venti' in the sand.

"woah. that's a cool name"

a voice spoke from behind him. he turned around to find a little girl his age. "thank you.." he mumbled shyly.

"can i play with u?" the little girl asked, with her hands behind her back. venti looked back at the sandbox, wondering if she would bully
him too.

"pleaseeee! i love the sandbox! i can teach u how
to make a sandcastle!" she jumped. the boy's eyes lit up.
