Chapter 2

Minsan talaga, ang bilis ng panahon. Parang kahapon lang, sobrang dali ng mga araw namin ni Drew puno ng tawanan, kulitan, and those little sweet moments na kami lang nakakaintindi. Pero kahit na masaya kami, laging nandiyan 'yung oras na kailangan din balansehin ang school life and relationships.

Pagkatapos ng coffee date namin kahapon, everything felt lighter, like a recharge before facing all the schoolwork again.

Today, ibang klaseng araw kasi magkikita kami ng barkada ni Drew, kasama siyempre si MJ, 'yung energy booster ng group.

Pagpasok ko sa classroom, I immediately spotted Seia and Diana. Usual setup namin 'to, ako sa unahan, Diana sa tabi ko, at si Seia nasa likod namin, scribbling on her cute pink notebook as usual.

"Heaven, you ready for later?" Diana asked, leaning towards me with a smirk.

"Hmm?" I raised an eyebrow. "Ano na naman pinaplano niyo?"

"Girl, susunduin ka ni Drew mamaya, remember?" Diana said, rolling her eyes as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. "Tapos, sabay-sabay na tayo magkikita sa mall. MJ will be there too."

"Ahhh, right." Napangiti ako nang maalala ko. Nagplano nga pala kami na magkikita-kita after school, para naman may konting pahinga from the academics.

"Kinikilig ka na naman," Seia chimed in, giving me a playful nudge. "Gusto ko 'yan. Sana all may Drew."

I couldn't help but laugh. "Sige na, guys. Mamaya pa 'yun."

We spent the morning going over our lessons, but my mind was already wandering towards the afternoon. Kahit nakakapagod ang araw na 'to, the thought of seeing Drew and MJ was enough motivation to get through the day.

After school, Diana and Seia waited with me sa labas ng gate. Tumawag si Drew, letting me know na malapit na siya. Few minutes later, nakita ko siya walking towards me, kasama si MJ na parang walang energy shortage kahit kailan.

"Heaven!" MJ greeted, running up to us with his signature goofy grin. "Miss ka na namin ni Drew!"

"MJ, hindi mo naman ako kasama sa school araw-araw," I teased, shaking my head.

"Exactly! Kaya nga na-miss kita!" MJ replied, making us all laugh.

Drew, on the other hand, gave me a soft smile, and I felt my heart skip a beat. "Hi, Love," he greeted, pulling me into a quick hug. "Ready ka na?"

"Of course. Let's go."

We headed towards the mall, MJ and Diana leading the way while making jokes about literally everything. As usual, si Seia naman was giggling along with their antics, her high-pitched laughter echoing through the hallway.

It was moments like these na sobrang saya ng vibe ng group namin, no pressure, just pure fun.

Nakarating kami sa mall, and as expected, MJ started to take charge sa pagpili ng kainan. "Food court tayo, guys. Mas madaming choices!"

Diana raised an eyebrow, crossing her arms. "I'm sure gusto mo lang ng mas mura, MJ."

MJ put a hand to his chest, acting dramatically hurt. "Grabe ka naman, Diana. It's about variety, hindi sa price!"

"Tama na, tama na," Drew interrupted, laughing as he shook his head. "Basta makakain na tayo. Gutom na 'ko."

We settled down at a table after getting our food, and as we started eating, MJ launched into another one of his crazy stories.

"Guys, alam niyo ba kanina sa class namin, may biglang sumabog na..."

He went on and on, making us all burst into laughter, kahit na half of the story probably wasn't true. Pero 'yun ang magic ni MJ he could make anything sound interesting or hilarious. Kahit si Drew, who was usually the quieter one, couldn't help but laugh.
