demari woke up out of his sleep to someone jumping on him repeatedly, his eyes fluttered open and his vision cleared sooner after his eyes opened, he hummed when niyara, the girl who was at his door step, had laid beside him.
she was now 6, demari hummed and looked at niyari, she folded her arms and frowned.
"daddy, you took too long to wake up!" niyara whined and shook demari, demari had a lazy grin that replaced his frown and he sat up.
"bad ass lil girl, it's saturday." demari poked her side and she giggled.
"i want waffles from waffle house!" niyara grabbed demari's hand and demari sighed out and rubbed his eyes.
"we can get waffle house, did you brush your teeth?" demari raised an eyebrow and niyara looked around and nodded her head.
"yess.."
"you are lying, i need to brush my teeth too." demari got off the bed, niyara followed him into the bathroom with her doc mcstuffin pajamas on.
demari opened the door to the bathroom and cut the light on, he turned the water on and grabbed his toothbrush.
niyara scooted her step stool up and stepped on it.
demari handed her, her tooth brush and put her miraculous toothbrush on her toothbrush for her.
"now brush your teeth good." demari watched her for a minute and niyara sighed.
"daddy why do i have to brush my teeth every morning and every night?" niyara stared at her toothbrush and demari looked at the ceiling before he smiled.
"if you don't, your teeth will get rotten and fall out, then you won't get money because your teeth are rotten." demari explained and niyara widened her eyes.
"oh, i'll brush my teeth! i want the tooth fairy to give me money!" niyara started brushing her teeth and demari shook his head and started brushing his teeth.
when they were done, demari left out the bathroom and into the kitchen.
niyara skipping behind her father, she wanted to be everywhere he was at.
demari picked up his phone and walked to the couch, he sat down on the couch and niyara happily jumped on the couch and grabbed her ipad.
