Crabfur is the Dark Forest guide. Canonically, before my playthrough takes place, she was the first cat to be lost to the Deep, and now drags the other cats down with her.
I'm playing the Cage in the Deep instead of Worshippers of the Waves, so my cats are all trying to escape the ocean.
