* ~ Chapter 19 ~ *

I was at home now, currently reading The Hunger Games. It was one of my favorite book series of all time, and the movies were awesome, too. It was extremely nice being home alone again, as Ate was caught up with swimming once more.

When I was finishing the book, my phone was beginning to ring, loudly. I answer it. "What is it?" I asked. The voice that came through was recognizable. It was Keiko.

"Hey Ron, I just needed to tell you something," she said.

"What?" I asked.

She sighed before replying, "Well, I need to say something. We have found the lab's location!"

"WHAT?!" I shouted in pure shock. This can't be real. They actually found it...? I found it prior, but didn't pay much attention because I was at risk. "What's the name of the lab? Is there more information on what they do there? Will we be able to... possibly take it down?" I blabbed away.

"It's called 'Choirin Science.' That is the dumbest name I've ever heard. Maybe the owner was a choir kid..? I don't know though. As for more information, we have gotten more information. It is said that they experiment on people, every age, in the most inhumane way possible. They get worse based on your number and age. By the time you are 18, you may even die from the methods they do. And it will be possible to take it down. Hopefully we can bomb it as well," she explained in a matter-of-fact and she sounded enthusiastic about taking down the lab.

"Welp, if we can take down the lab, we better not waste time to do so!" I exclaimed.

"Well then, what are we waiting for?! Let's grab the whole group and we'll meet up at my house," Keiko says. "No time to waste or lose!"

We meet up at Keiko's house. Everyone is sitting in a circle, waiting for Dai to return from the bathroom. "Damn, what is he doing in there, sharting?" I ask. Charlie facepalmed and playfully nudged me. "No, stupid!" she exclaims. "He's just... taking a shi-"

"OKAY, OKAY, KNOCK IT OFF!" Dai shouts as he walks out from the bathroom. We're going to have to plan on how we're gonna do this! We need to think hard and slowly! If we want to take down this lab and help out Ronnie find her truth, we need to take it at a steady pace!"

"YEAH!" Keiko shouted. "You go, bro!"

"Back to the point. I made us some trackers so we can talk to each other. I also got us some earpiece-microphone things. It's just so we don't have to use our phones and risk them breaking. If they break, we would likely be screwed. So yeah, I made us those."

Keiko whispered to me, "Dai is a tech geek and nerd. You need help with your technology? Come to him."

"I'll keep that in mind," I said. "I hate to admit, but I'm kind of bad with technology related things."

"Alright, so what's the plan?" Dexter asks.

"Well, we should probably divide. Charlie and Dexter could distract any employees, I could stray off any monsters, and Keiko could go with Ronnie to either find the boss or where she was kept at. If this doesn't work, we can improvise," Dai says.

I sigh before I speak, "Dai and I are the powerful ones here. Maybe we both could stray off monsters."

Dexter nods. "Maybe that could work. Charlie is better at distracting people than I am. I'll go with Keiko, even though she most likely can handle herself."

"That could work," Charlie and Keiko say.

"Wait, I forgot to tell you," I suddenly blurt out. "My sister knows about the lab too. If I can, I'll see if she can help us with this. She's a bit of a science geek, so she could understand a thing or two about the lab, or she probably researched the location herself! Then, we could probably destroy this place even easier! Ate can distract people too, so she can work with Charlie."

"You're right," Dexter says. "We will launch this plan soon. Let's meet up at the park after lunch tomorrow."

After lunch the next day, the kids met up at the park and huddled next to a tree. My sister came too, as I had asked her.

"Hey," said Ate. "I'm Kyler! You guys can call me Ky. I don't really care." Everyone smiled and waved at her.

"She seems like a good person, Ronnie," says Dexter. "She is," I reply, and I look at Dai.

"So, which plan should we do first?" I ask. "Oh, and by the way, I asked my sister when she woke up. Guess what? She said yes!"

Dai smiled. "That's good. And as for the plan we should do first, I suggest we do the plan where you and I try to fend off any monster while trying to find a shortcut to either the boss's office or where you were kept while Dexter and Charlie take the regular, long route. Don't worry, I gave them a map. Kyler, you will be going with Charlie to distract any employees. I heard from your sister that you're pretty good at distracting people.

Ate nodded. "That's right. I've managed to distract Ronnie. She's way too easily distracted."

I looked at her. "Hey! Not my fault I have ADHD!"

"Alright, so it's settled," said Charlie. "We'll do that plan, and if it doesn't work, we'll improvise and improve!"

Dai says, "So everyone, prepare everything you may need, and we'll head there this evening! Everyone is guaranteed to be free by then, and it will be the best time since many people do not work there late at night. We will take down that lab, and we will bring the owner down!"

"AGREED!" we all shout in unison.

It is settled.
I just hope this works.
