Chapter 5:stay away

I dropped Bryceton off with Gemma so I could get some stuff done at the house. I did some dishes and cleaned a little then checked the time. It was 2:30. I grabbed my phone and texted Jai asking if he could drop off Bryceton at the house.

He replied a moment after saying he would love too. I put my phone down as there was a knock at the door. I walked over and opened it to see a man maybe in his 40s standing there. He was weird looking so I didn't open the door all the way.

"Can I help you?" I asked.

"Yes I think you can" he said looking around the door frame then at me. I held the door tighter hoping Jai would come any moment.

"My your pretty" he said.

"Ok" I said closing the door only to have it burst open. I ran towards the kitchen and grabbed a knife. He grabbed my hand and smacked it on the counter making me scream out in pain. I dropped the knife as he held the back of my neck and my arm. He threw me into the living room making me fall and hit my head on a toy . He crouched down next to me,

"You tell Clay get me what I need or else I will come down the line I'll ask Jai then you and your ba-" I grabbed a hard toy and hit him with it making him fall and I got up.

"Stay away from my kid" I yelled then ran outside.

I saw a car pull up and Jai got out because he saw me running. Jax was with him and he got out too.

"He has a gun he has a gun" I said as Jai grabbed my upper arm to stop me. Jax took out his gun and went in. Jai held me in a hug as Jax went in. He came out and shook his head.

"He is gone must have gone through the back door" he said. I looked at Jai and after that I packed bags and went to Gemma and Clays house because Jax said it wasn't safe for me there.

"What did he say?" Clay asked me as I sat at the dinning room table.

"He told me to tell you that get what he needs or he will go down the line Jai then me then Bryceton" I said. Jax gave a look to Clay I have never seen. I had a big cut on my forehead from where i hit my head on the toy. I had some ice on it when Gemma walked in.

"Jesus Christ" she said walking over to me and moving the ice so she could look at it.

"I'm fine I just need to stay here for a while and yeah" I told her standing up and grabbing Bryceton and walking to the guest room they had. I put him on the bed and gave him a bottle and covered him with a blanket. I smiled down at him as his big brown eyes stared back. I put a pillow on the edge so he wouldn't fall off. I sat on his other side and went on my phone. He fell asleep and I carefully took the bottle to the kitchen. I walked back to my room and put up a extra crib they had and put him in it then got in bed. No one will harm my family....................
