Fatima: NO. That's not what I said.
It's Thursday and Zac was unable to get some sleep because Fatima was up early in her office, yelling on the phone. Her office was next door to their bedroom.
Fatima: I told you his paperwork should have been done before I went on maternity leave.
Zac looked over at his clock on the nightstand to see what time it was. It was 6:30am.
Zac: Who the hell is she yelling at this early?
Zac frustratingly pulled the covers off of him and sat up. He walked over to check on the boys before he headed to Fatima's office. She was pacing back and forth with one Airpod in her ear and her phone in her hand.
Zac: Fatima.
Fatima: I don't care. You should have fought harder.
Zac: Fatima.
Fatima put up her index finger, signaling him to wait.
Zac: Yeah. Hell no. We not doing that.
Zac walked up to her and took the phone out of her hand. He checked the phone to see who she was talking too.
Zac: Erica I'm sorry your boss is a crazy person. Go back to sleep. She will finish yelling at you in a couple hours when she is at work.
Zac ended the call.
Fatima: Zac how many times do I have to tell you to stop doing that?
Zac: Fatima it is 6:30 in the morning. Nobody wants to hear all that yelling early in the morning. Why aren't you in bed sleeping?
Fatima: Zakari woke up at 3am and I had to take care of him.
Out of the two, Zakari is the only one that isn't sleeping through the night. Zaylen loves his sleep.
Zac: That was 3 and a half hours ago. You're telling me you've been up since then?
Fatima: Yes. He was being impatient tonight, so I had to breast feed him. Once I got him to sleep, I couldn't go back to sleep. I decided to just do some work since I was already up.
Zac: I thought we said no work at home
Fatima: I know babe, but I have a lot to do. Budgets aren't done yet for this quarter, the board wants to see the improvements we have been working on for the past year, and on top of that I'm trying to get ready for my meeting with Jeremy Vuernick.
Zac: Who is that?
Fatima: He is head of A&R for Capitol Records. I have a meeting set up with him on Monday to talk about him possibly signing you on.
Zac: Babe that sounds like a lot. Maybe you should get someone else to work on my situation.
Fatima: Why would I do that?
Zac: Because you have too much on your plate already and you have only been working for a couple of days. I don't wanna add more to your already long list of things you need to do.
Fatima: No I'm fine. Once I get everything back to the way I like it. Everything else will be easy.
Zac: Are you sure?
Fatima: Yes.
Zac: Ok. Now can you come back to bed since you don't have to be up for work for another two hours?
Fatima: I just told you I couldn't sleep.
Zac turned her around and wrapped his arms around her.
Zac: (smirks) I got something to cure your insomnia. Don't worry.
