Even though everyone was excitedly planning to go to the pumpkin patch, there was something about it that gave me the creeps. I don't know if it was the way the scarecrow stared down everyone in its path or the fact the maze was so hard you could generally get lost.

"Sara come on!" Rachel said, running straight for the entrance.

The thing that made this maze so fairly different was that there was multiple exits, but if you failed to pick the wrong one.. Lets just say it didn't end well for you then.Rachel and Brooks got into the line eagerly, ignoring the fact of the dangers that could be wearing in the massive maze.

"Brooks, Rachel, lets not do this, there's way funner things like pumpkin picking!" I explained, trying to get their mind off of the corn maze.

"Next up, three tickets?"The ticket master asked.

"Yeah!" Rachel exclaimed.

"Uhh umm yeah, three tickets" I said, agreeing with my friends.

As we walked into the corn maze, I could already feel the fear in my blood.

Brooks must have seen, because he grabbed my hand, "I'm a-a-a little scared too." he said, but I could obviously tell he was lying.

Rachel ran into a side, leaving me and Brooks to fend for ourselves.

"I'm going down this path, text me if you need anything." Brooks said, running down another passageway.

I looked down another passageway, slowly walking towards it, then fully emerged into the eight foot tall hay stacks. I could feel my phone vibrating in my pocket. It was Rachel.

"Went in the wrong exit, see y'all at the end.. If you can make it 😱 ."

I ignored Rachel's text, moving on and putting my phone back into my pocket. I continued to walk, taking the turns naturally, and not over thinking anything. My phone buzzed again, but I continued into the maze, this time ignoring it. I could hear less people each time I stepped farther and farther. Then, I saw it. A exit. The right exit? No idea. I walked right up to the very edge, looking at it. This very moment determined if I had to get slimed. I walked forward, lifting the tarp over my head.

A man walked up to me, and asked for my name. "Sara" I responded, then he took a megaphone, and screamed "We have a winner!! Sara has completed the maze successfully!"

I gasped, no way this had happened. Rachel ran up to me Brooks following her shorly after.

"You did it Sara!" Rachel said, jumping into my arms, covered in slime.

"Yeah.. I did" I trailed off, letting my slimy friends all over me.
