Felix's POV

"I'm moving to Italy."

My heart literally just skipped, like, five beats.

"W-wha- Italy?"

My best, and only friend, is moving thousands, and thousands of miles away.

"W-why?"

"Well, daddy said he got a huge promotion...and the business men want us to be closer to them, I guess..."

I frowned and stared at my feet.

Suddenly, soft arms wrapped around me.

"I'll miss you, Felix."

I smiled sadly and hugged back.

"I'll miss you more, Marzia."

And just like that, she was gone.

*Present*

"Stupid barrels!"

Yelling at the computer screen and laughing, I turned to my camera.

"I hope you enjoyed this episode, bros. I'll see you next time."

I brought a fist up to the lens of the camera and turned off the camera. I sat back in my computer chair and rubbed my face with my hands.

My phone rung in my pocket, making me sigh. I reached into my pocket and answered it lazily.

"Hello?" I muttered.

"Felix! It's mom!"

A bright smile appeared on my face.

"Hey, mom. What's up?"

I ask her, standing up from my computer chair.

"I have big news! Your sister has a friend coming over from Italy for the Fourth of July party tonight! You should join us!"

Rolling my eyes, I sighed.

"Sure, mom."

My mom giggled and cheered.

"Oh, good! Love you!"

"Love you too."

I hung up my phone and looked out the window at the ambulance that was passing by.

Mom has always wanted me to be in a relationship with someone, but she doesn't understand how busy I am.

I turned away from the window and decided to get ready for the party tonight.

*Later That Evening*

Ding-dong!

Moving my finger away from the doorbell, I waited for my sister to answer the door. I stared at my feet and the Welcome rug.

"Felix!"

Looking up from the floor, my sister was wearing star glasses and a
Happy 4th! hat.

I smiled softly and hugged my sister.

"Singe. Good to see you."

She patted my back and pulled away.

"Good to see you too! C'mon in!"

I walked in and was greeted by loud music, chattering, and wine glasses clinking together.

Feeling awkward, I stood against a wall and pulled out my phone and started playing Flappy Bird.

"Stupid mother fucking bird," I muttered, tapping my phone in a pattern.

All of a sudden, it got quieter, letting you hear the ring of the doorbell.

My sister cheered and quieted everyone down. She reached for the doorknob and when the door opened, a girl stood there smiling. When our eyes met, they were locked on each other.

"Everyone! This is my internet friend, Marzia!"

The name rung in my ears. Marzia. It sounds so familiar....
