Marzia's POV
He didn't stop staring at me. I didn't want him to stop, to be honest.
His eyes shine like the boy I had a crush on back then...
Shaking my head to get away from my thoughts, I smiled shyly at Singe and her guests.
People in the crowd said hello, but soon after the small chats continued. Singe smiled reassuringly.
"Marzia! It's good to finally meet you in real life! How was the flight?"
I wanted to say how horrible the service was, but my mother always told me I would have bite my tongue if I say something rude.
"I-It was fantastic...especially the flight attendants-- their service was amazing."
Singe nodded and smiled.
"Are you feeling good? Need a drink? How about some wine-"
"Water would be fine."
Singe pressed her lips together but nodded slowly.
"I'll go get you some water, then."
I thanked her and returned my attention to the guy who was standing against the wall.
He would steal glances at me, then return to his phone screen right after.
I smirked and looked around, trying to make him look again. But to my disappointment, he didn't look at all.
I frowned and looked at him.
"Felix!"
Turning the other way, I saw a man wearing a bear hat giving 'Felix' a high-five. Felix gave him an awkward high-five back.
Felix. Hm. That sounds so-
"Here ya go!"
Startled, I gasped and turned towards Singe. She was holding out a glass of water.
"S-Sorry. Um, t-thank you."
Singe laughed and nodded.
"Don't be afraid to ask me for anything! I'll be in the game room if you need me," She said, giving me a comforting smile.
I smiled back and looked over at Felix.
To my surprise, he was looking at me again. I smiled to myself. He started to make his way towards me.
My knees are shaking, and I'm a mess of electricity. My cheeks heat up as he gets closer.
Before I know it, he's standing next to me.
"So-- I heard you make YouTube videos."
