You followed the duo to breakfast. You weren't much of a breakfast sorta guy, but you needed to take your mind off of things.
Asim made a fuss over Viper's cut hand, as you watched silently.
"I'm really okay."
"I just can't believe it!"
"Yo yo, (x)!" Diamond winked, wandering over with the others.
You turn around, with Bobby sitting on your shoulder. "Hm? Why's Heartslabyul here, plus Newbie?"
"Newbie??" Newbie's face scrunches up after being called that.
Asim looks at Creature, "Oh! That's the weasel who set my rear on fire at orientation!!"
Newbie mumbles. "Uhm. Sorry about that."
"Aha, it's fine!" Asim grins. "I'm Kalim, Scarabia's housewarden. And that's the vice housewarden, Jamil."
Viper sighs. "So, why are you asking about my accident?"
"Orders from the Headmage." Newbie doesn't look that pleased.. you wouldn't be either.
Since they weren't asking about your little accident, you assumed that nobody knew of it yet.
"..Last night, I was in the kitchen frying up some lamb rolls at Kalim's request." Viper said, "When-"
Asim smiled brightly. "Oh man, you guys have NO idea how amazing Jamil's lamb rolls are. You've gotta try 'em one day!"
"Can we please stay on topic, Kalim?"
"Oh right. Sorry!"
"As I was saying; When I was chopping the ingredients, it was like my knife hand went wild and cut my other hand all on its own."
"It makes no sense! Even the dorm's head chef can attest to Jamil's legendary knife skills." Asim paused in thought. "Were you tired from practice, maybe?"
"No. Not so tired I couldn't control my hands." Viper shakes his head, continuing to explain. "..But at one point while I was cooking, I did feel kind of light-headed."
Ah, thinking of it, you did feel a bit like that. You just lost complete control over your body.
"Light-headed? Stress? Maybe sleepiness.." Newbie mumbled to themselves.
"Most people would think that, but I know that sensation. I think I was feeling the effects of someone's Unique Magic." Viper states.
You nod in confirmation. "Yea, I'm pretty sure it was that."
"??!!"
"Wait, hold up!" Asim's eyes widened. "What do you mean by that??"
"Hm. Well, I was going to Diasomnia, but I tripped and fell. It was like I lost control of my body." You explained.
Diamond hums thoughtfully, "So you fell too, just like Riddle?"
"When I fell.. It felt like it was my own mistake." Rose crosses his arms.
Viper looks at you with slight concern in his eyes. "Where did you get hurt?"
"Uh. I didn't get hurt." Your eyes narrowed. "..Bobby did."
"???"
"Thats why when I find the culprit, I'll kick their ass into Briar Valley."
Rose just stared blankly. "..I see."
