Shanks and the crew searched the whole island for Uta, but to no avail. Luffy and Uta were walking around, talking and laughing about their good and bad times. Now, Luffy had taken her inside Party's Bar, where they met a woman named Makino. She had green hair and wore an apron over a red blouse.
"Luffy! Who is the cute, little girl you brought with you?" Makino asks. "Is she your g -"
"NO!" Luffy shouted, embarrassed.
"Ew! No!" Uta yelled, disgusted.
"Ew? You jerk!"
"Mleh!" Uta taunted, pulling her right eyelid down, sticking her tongue out.
"Grrr!" Luffy growled, kicking Uta in her left thigh.
"Ow! Dammit, Luffy! That hurt!" Uta whimpered, rubbing her leg.
"Luffy! We do not kick people, unless it's Garp!" Makino scolded him. "Now, if you may introduce yourself?"
"I'm Uta, Daughter of Shanks!" Uta introduced herself.
"Shanks? I didn't know he had a child!" Makino giggled. "Here, come take a seat, I assume you're hungry?"
"Yeah!"
"I could eat a little. Is it expensive? Not like it matters."
Luffy climbed onto a stool in front of Makino. Uta took a seat next to him, looking around.
"I'm Makino, the bartender here. What can I get you, Uta?" Makino asks, drying two cups off.
"Um, wha'cha got?" Uta asks, looking at the menu above.
"How about a glass of juice? I have a variety to choose from. Apple, Grape, Orange, Cran-"
"I'll take Grape, please."
"Coming right up! And Luffy, I'm guessing you want Apple?"
"Yep!"
Makino walks behind the counter, returning with the cups filled with juice. It had ice cubes, a red straw, and a yellow umbrella in both.
"Fancy." Uta sarcastically chuckled.
"Thanks!"
"You're welcome! Anything else? It's on the house since it's Luffy and his first friend!" Makino offers.
"I'm fine for now, thanks anyway." Uta answed, sipping on her juice.
"Dang, this is the best grape juice I have ever had! I wonder why?"
Uta inhales the drink, suprising Makino.
"Um, want more?"
"Yes, please!" Uta answers, handing her the cup.
Uta then wipes her mouth with a white cloth on the counter.
"That was the greatest grape juice I have ever had!"
"That's good to hear! Here you go!"
Makino hands Uta another glass of juice.
Uta repeated her action.
"Just take this."
Makino drops a huge barrel of grape juice onto the counter. Uta was about to drink it when the bar doors swang open.
"Uta!"
"Eh?"
Uta turned around. A tired Shanks stood their, catching his breath.
"I looked everywhere for you! Why are you here?" Shanks asks.
"Luffy showed me to this place. Makino makes great juice!"
Shanks looks up and sees Makino smiling and waving.
"Long time no see, Shanks!" Makino happily cries.
"Makino! It's been a while, hasn't it!" Shanks greets, walking up to the stand.
"You know each other!?" Uta gasps.
Shanks and Makino hug for a moment and let go.
"Makino is one of my best friends! I haven't seen her in over ten years!" Shanks chuckled.
"EH!?" "WHAT!?" Uta and Luffy screamed in at the same time.
