The sky was in a beautiful shade of blue, seems like an indicator that it will be a good day for everyone in presence. Life was moving in rather calm and slow pace lately, especially for a certain bunny-looking boy. After he turned 18 years old, Doyoung had to moved out of the orphanage that used to take care of him. That was always the rule  for those who weren't chosen like him and he embraced it rather calmly.

Doyoung had prepared for his future. He planned everything out during his stay at the orphanage. Somehow, somewhere along the line when he realised that his chance of getting adopted by any family was decreasing as he was growing up, Doyoung realised that in the upcoming few years that he was going to lose the only place that he could call home. The only shelter he ever had in his life.

He realised that he had to be prepared, he had to know what he has and wanted to do. Obviously, living another miserable life, especially on his own, was not on his bingo card. He loved the orphanage, everyone always treated him kindly and the kids were very lively and adorable. He could only pray that all of them who showed him kindness will receive the same treatment as they deserved.

Suddenly, the thoughts of the three kids he used to treat crossed his mind. Doyoung hated to say that he had any bias because honestly he loves all the kids in the orphanage equally. However, he just can't deny the extra love and the extra miles he would go through for this three specific kids. Maybe because they were glued to his side the most. He didn't really know. He just knew that he always loved them the most.

Doyoung was staring at the bright sky, smiling as he remembered all the sweet memories he had always treasured when he was still at the orphanage. It was break time but he didn't eat anything. He just needed to take a break and he can continue his work in no time. After leaving the orphanage, he always had the need to do anything just so he can save a little bit more money than what he had planned.

It became his unhealthy habit now. The only meal he ever consumed was during breakfast and dinner. He even considered to only have one meal a day but breakfast is important for one's body and dinner is sufficient right now because he literally juggling between two jobs in the weekdays and one more job during the weekend. He can't afford to risk his health now.

Learning from his current experience, he was very grateful for the kids that got adopted, especially his three little monkeys. He realised that they won't have to struggle just to live and see another day coming. They won't have to experience what he had to. Even if one of them ended up like him, he was very sure that he will take the kids under his wings and make sure that they won't encounter any painful experiences.

That's just how Doyoung was as a person. The kids always called him mom because he acted like one. He has all the emotional capabilities and the strength that any struggling mom, more accurately a strong mom, could ever have. But that was what made Doyoung, Doyoung.

Eight years had passed since then. He's twenty six now. He had a roof of his own, a job (jobs) of his own and he can even afford his own meal. He won't asked for more than this because he thought that he already had too much that he was more than grateful to own.

"Doyoung-ah! Have you had enough rest? If so, can you please help me at the counter? A lot of customers suddenly come rushing in." A bundle of fluffy brown hair peaked out from the doorway and call for him. It was Soonyoung, his coworker who was also the co-owner of the cafe.

Soonyoung was a cute and friendly guy, he was very enthusiastic but surprisingly an introvert. He co-owned the cafe alongside his cousin, whom Doyoung never met before. Apparently, his cousin owned another business and co-owned the cafe with Soonyoung because the latter needed some help with the business.

Doyoung smiled and stood up to walk back inside the cafe. "What's happening though? Usually, there was almost nobody in the cafe during this hour." It was a working hour. Lunch time had long passed. That was why Doyoung was taking his time admiring the sky. "My cousin came by and bring along his underdogs somehow."
