Okie quick help- Lana gets a bf named Damon and they're getting married yay! This is like 6 months later

Lana stood in the doorway of the small apartment she shared with Damon, her heart a mix of excitement and trepidation. The place was modest, but it was warm and welcoming, a sharp contrast to the sterile atmosphere of her previous home with Matt. She glanced down at Leo, who was happily bouncing around the living room, his laughter filling the space with an infectious joy.

"Look at you, buddy!" Lana said, ruffling Leo's hair as he played with his new set of colorful building blocks.

Damon appeared from the kitchen, carrying a tray of snacks. His eyes softened as he watched Lana and Leo, a smile tugging at his lips. He set the tray on the coffee table and crouched beside Leo. "Hey there, champ. What's the game today?"

Leo looked up at Damon, his blue eyes wide with admiration. "Building!"

Damon grinned and joined Leo on the floor, picking up a block and pretending it was a spaceship. "To infinity and beyond!" he declared in a playful voice, making Leo giggle.

Lana watched them with a contented sigh. Damon had been a rock for her, his patience and kindness helping her heal from the heartbreak of her separation from Matt. His love for Leo was genuine and deep, and that made Lana's heart swell with gratitude.

The phone rang, jolting her from her reverie. She picked it up and saw Matt's name on the screen. Her breath caught for a moment, but she answered the call.

"Hello, Matt," she said, her voice steady despite the flutter in her chest.

"Hey, Lana," Matt's voice was hesitant. "I was wondering if I could talk to you for a minute."

"Sure," she replied, glancing at Damon, who gave her an encouraging nod.

"First off," Matt began, "I just wanted to say I'm really sorry about how things ended between us. I know I made mistakes, and I wish things could've been different."

Lana took a deep breath. "I appreciate that, Matt. It's been a difficult time for all of us."

Matt continued, "I've been thinking a lot lately, and I realize that you and Damon seem happy together. I'm glad Leo has a positive environment. I just wanted to let you know that I've been invited to your wedding, and I'd like to come if you're okay with it."

Lana's heart skipped a beat. Her wedding with Damon was a celebration she had been looking forward to, a symbol of new beginnings. She knew it would be an emotional event, and the presence of Matt would add another layer of complexity.

"I appreciate the gesture, Matt," Lana said carefully. "Let me talk to Damon and get back to you, okay?"

"Of course," Matt replied, sounding relieved. "Take your time."

After ending the call, Lana turned to Damon, who was now engrossed in building a tower with Leo. "Matt called," she said, her voice tinged with uncertainty. "He wants to come to our wedding."

Damon looked up, his expression thoughtful. "How do you feel about that?"

Lana shrugged, her emotions conflicted. "I don't know. I'm happy that he wants to be part of Leo's life and acknowledge our new chapter, but I also don't want it to overshadow what we're building together."

Damon placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "Whatever you decide, we'll face it together. It's your day, too. We can handle it."

Lana nodded, feeling a surge of relief at Damon's support. "Thank you. I think I'd like to invite him, if only to show that we can move forward amicably."

The weeks leading up to the wedding were filled with a mix of preparations and emotional moments.
