I woke up with slight pain in my legs and back. Uhh...this fucking hectic schedule wil kill me someday. I don't know how Di manages to be at the office for weeks. Shit this headache give me my Chai. I managed to get up from bed. The dance practice after months I'm damn sure that in a few days I'll faint on streets or while practicing. Don't know what's going to happen to my life, I'm a lazy brat I can't work all day. No problem I'll get used to it. I did my morning business get down at the dining table for breakfast everyone was there except Dhriti Di she might be at her study or office she never does breakfast lunch or dinner with us because dad is also there don't know what but she never has been gentle or calm with him unless and until she is in boardroom with him there she is a totally different person with him and outside she is ready to kill him. Uhh god give them some brains that not all step fathers are the same. Yeah he is our step father. Our parents are dead.
Dad died in an accident when I and diksha di were in mumma's tummy...no no she is not my mother I hate her she left us, she waved off from her responsibilities and went somewhere. She left us all her four children crying. Me and Diksha were just six months then and Dhruvi Di was maybe two and a half years and Dhriti Di was around eight she left us because she can't take our responsibility of all four of us that's why she ran away after a few years she died in an accident too. She deserved it maybe but all I know is that I have Dhriti Di she is our mother and she took care of all of us from day one. I was thinking about all this when I felt a hand on my shoulder and I know who it is, my mommy, I mean Dhriti Di.
"Everyone is done with breakfast and you are still sitting with an empty plate why didn't you eat" here she is caring about I know she hasn't even taken a bite but for me, for us she is always concerned. "Have you eaten something?" I asked knowing her reply. She nodded in disagreement. I served the food on my plate and fed her and she fed me too.
When I came here Everyone was here, where are they. Maybe gone, Diksha had an important surgery she might be in a rush Dhruvi Di was on call she must have not noticed me and Dad might be busy. Thinking about all this I didn't notice the food was over and Di was looking at trying to figure out something.
"What are you thinking?" She asked "Nothing...will you drop me at the academy?" I replied and she gave a green signal. Let's goo I need to be there in time I'm already running late. I rushed to her car but wait is not here did she take another car I peeped and there she was in her sleek black SUV. Huhh...inki ameeri mai bhi hu Ameer pushtaini ameer hai hum but these cars are bought from her hard earned money.
"Come sit... you'll get late" she said I quickly took the passenger seat and put the seat belt. She was driving at a normal speed that's unusual. Should I ask aree leave it I'm also enjoying the slow drive in this rushed life of mine. Again my thoughts drifted towards my mother and the letter which she left for us written she can't take our responsibility.
"Maa should have not left us!" Unknowingly the words escaped my lips. Shit I should have not done this. This is a sensitive topic for Di. As expected she stopped the car abruptly and looked at me with wide eyes. I could easily see hurt and anger both at the same time.
