Red Hearts was the only princess in Wonderland, which made her mother determined to find her a good suitor for future King. She had gone through many balls, seasons, dates etc... but no boy caught her eye. She was tired of all of these stupid men trying to get in her pants, or bragging about money. She hated them all. She was determined to never fin love, even if it killed her.
Red's POV:
My mother was hosting ANOTHER party. I fucking resented her for this. She never let me decide what I do, who I'll be or who I marry. She was so fucking eager for me to be Queen! I never wanted to do anything related to love. I've read stories about Princes saving damsels, or Knights protecting their lover princess. They all seemed so happy to have found love, so why didn't I feel any happiness when with a boy? What was wrong with me?
I groaned in distress as I got ready for the ball. I wore a red velvet dress with my hair half up and half down in a ponytail. I put in my custom style hair clips that were red hearts with a white crack and the other side black. I never knew, Why Mom was so desperate for me to find love when she ruled as a single Queen? I guess she doesn't want me to be alone like her. She said she used to have a bestfriend named Cinderella. But something happened to make a rift between the two. Odd enough for me, but my mom had friends?
I walked down the stairs elegantly, looking around for the buffet table. I saw many guys dressed in suits, Red suits, black tuxedos, royal blue suits. Many approached me and saying hello, hi, hey or anything greeting related. I nodded and forced a smile. "Hello" was all I could muster out, feeling uneasy and uncomfortable. I walked through the many guys and soon escaped the ball room. Nobody followed me out, must have gotten rid of them for good! I dashed through the halls, running as fast as I could. I soon made it outside, I hid under a tree. I closed my eyes breathing in the crisp and cool air. I sat there for hours, the day bleeding into night.
I heard footsteps in a rushed manner, coming to me. I opened my eyes to see a woman. Her hair was long, curly and blue, she had soft brown eyes. The suit she had worn was a fancy light blue tuxedo with glass boots. She had a small golden rose in her hands, she was staring at the ground. She looked down at the tree, screaming when she saw me. Slapping her hand over her mouth, she frantically apologized. "I AM SO SO SORRY! I didn't mean to- I didn't know anyone was here." She quietly apologized. I chuckled, scooting over. "Its fine." She groaned, sitting next to me.
"I had to come here with my brother Chad. He already has a crush, but my father said it'd be good to find someone from another kingdom. I was forced to come here to find 'my one true love'!" She looked down. "Why are these guys so desperate?" She mumbled to herself, I caught it barely. "Tell me about it, this is the 4th time my mom held a ball this season. She won't give up until some guy manages to catch me. I hate these dumb parties!" The girl nodded.
"I'm Chloe Charming, you are?" She looked at me as the moon glowed brightly, outlining her face beautifully. "Red. Red Hearts." She gasped, smiling as bright as the Summer Sun. "You're the one hosting this ball!?" She sighed, her smile beaming with glee. "I've always wanted to host a ball. Not for dumb suitors, just a fun party with friends!" She looked at my hair, "I love your hairs, and your pins! They resemble you." I looked at her and smiled. "Thank you, I like your rose, and glass boots." She smiled, her breath like mint.
"Mh, mint toothpaste?" I remarked, she chuckled. "Hm, bubblegum toothpaste?" I blushed, looking back at the Moon. She leaned her head on my shoulder. "Mhm." I blushed, my head resting on hers. "I think you'd be a great wife." Charming nudged me. My face was to red to explain. "W-what do you mean? heh.." I was not able to think straight. Am I even straight? "You heard me, Hearts." I chuckled at her flirty tone. "You'd be an excellent wife too, Charming." I felt my heart beating faster than the speed of light.
Heat was radiating off her cheeks, to the point I could feel it. I won the battle, or so I thought. Charming sat up and looked me dead in the eye, her face red. I smirked a smirky smirk. She huffed, rolling her eyes. She looked deep into my eyes, seeing that my confidence was faltering. Her lips soon curled into a bigger smirk. She leaned forwards, leaving few centimeters between us. Her breath hot and her voice low, she whispers, "Wanna bet, Hearts?" This caused me to stop functioning, my breath caught in my throat. I- What? "Huh?"
Chloe giggled, leaning in and softly placing a kiss on my lips. MY FUCKING HEART IS MELTING HOLY SHIT! I didn't know what to do, so I kissed back. This action caused her to take the lead and make it slightly more passionate. She grabbed my waist, pulling me onto her lap. I wrapped my arms around her neck, a feeling of pure bliss hitting my nerves. We both pulled back for breath, she was smirking. "What happened to that confident woman?" She whispered. We were still close, I was sat on her lap.
"Shut up." I tried to make an angry expression, but Chloe just giggled at my reaction. We laid together in the grass, hidden in the tree's. She snuggled up with me. "Hey Red?" I hummed in response. "Wanna play pranks at this ball" I chuckled. "YES!" My lips formed a smile bigger and brighter than the Sun. She giggled as I sat up, laying her head in my lap. Time stopped moving and we felt happy, until we heard moaning.
Chloe shot up, "Chad?" she whispered in shock. We both looked through the tree's, my guard up. Chloe got to her feet, making sure to help me up too. We steadily wandered through the dark tree's, finding 'Chad' pressed up against a stone wall. Another man with blond hair kissing his neck. This man had long curly blond hair, purple and blue highlights in it. He wore a pink suit. Chloe gasped, her face turning red. She turned away covering her face. I smirked, "Hmm.~"
Chad saw us and looked me in the eyes. "A-Adrian!~ S-stop!" The blond man topping Chad pulled away. When he saw us he choked on air, coughing and looking away. "Ah-" Chads voice was high pitched, turning deep. "Ah- W-what are you doing out here, princess? Chloe, why are you with the princess and not dancing in the castle?!" I looked both of the blond men up and down. "Could say the same to you, Charming. Why are you getting topped by a man? Is he your boyfriend?" I teased the blond Charming.
Adrian grabbed Chad by the waist, making sure he didn't say anything. "Yes, I am the son of Aurora Beauty." Chad turned into a flustered campfire of heat. "W-well what about you, Chloe?! Who's this?!" I grabbed Chloe's waist before she could respond. "I am Red Hearts, Chloe's girlfriend." Chloe gasped, "R-red!?" I gave her a look that made her shut up, but she was just the same as Chad. Hotter than the Sun by the touch. Their cheeks redder than my hair.
Me and Adrian nodded to each other. "Well then, me and Chad are to be going now, farewell. Red and Chloe." I nodded, walking away with Chloe in my arms still. "R-red, you can let go now." I ignored her. "I said-" "I heard you." I spoke calmly. Chloe gulped, I stopped, pulling her back into my arms. The gap between us closed. "Chloe Charming, marry me. Please." She looked deep into my eyes. Leaning forwards, she kissed my lips. "Lets just take it slow baby, we will marry when we're older, okay? Then we can make the family whole."
Chloe... she... she didn't say "We can marry when we're older..." No, she said "We will marry when we're older." She didn't say can, she said will. She wants to marry me! Wait. "You called me-" She shushed me, smiling. "I know what I called you, baby.~" Her voice was so soft and sweet, what is happening to me? "I love you, Chlo." She giggled. "I love you too darling.~"
After that night, I bid my girlfriend farewell and went to talk to my mother. "Red, where have you been?! Are you okay?! The suitors were worried sick!" She ranted. "Mother, I have found a Queen." My mother laughed. "You mean King, Right? You found a man to make your king, and you accidentally called him Queen? HA!" I shook my head. "I will be marrying Chloe Charming, and she will be my Future Queen." My mother looked at me. "No matter what you do or say, I am marrying that woman, you can't change me!"
She laughed. "I don't give a fuck! Man, woman, person. I just want you to have someone to rule WITH!" I smiled, "Thanks for understanding Mom." She waved me off. "Get to bed now, we can't have you up to late." I nodded, running off to my room. I was finally happy.
