"I should be the leader," Leo muttered to Rory. "Maybe I should eliminate him."

"Leo!" Rory scolded, her eyes widened in shock. "You can't mean that. Wild is a great leader and we all look up to him."

"Yeah, I agree with Rory," Shade added. "We must think of the pack as a whole, not just ourselves."

Leo paused, considering their words. But jealousy still gnawed at him, fueling his desire to eliminate Wild and take his place as leader.

"Did I say eliminate him? I didn't mean it like that," he said shakily.

"Good," Rory nodded, relieved.

I need to find some way to eliminate Wild, Leo thought, his mind already scheming. He knew he had to be careful with his words from now on so Rory and Shade wouldn't catch on to his true intentions. Then he had an idea.

He had overcome his fear of mice, not once, not twice, but three times. He knew Wild had the same fear though he didn't show it nowadays. His plan was to lure Wild out to an abandoned warehouse filled with mice, knowing that Wild's fear would incapacitate him long enough for Leo to take care of him. Rory and Shade wouldn't be coming along (Leo would make sure of that), so he could execute his plan perfectly without any distractions. Then he planned on knocking Wild out and locking him in a closet. Brilliant, right?

If that plan failed, he would need to come up with a backup plan quickly. Leo was confident in his ability to outsmart Wild, but he also knew that things didn't always go according to plan.

"Leo, whatever you are planning, you know you are better than this," Shade said as if she could read his mind.

One night, Wild was practicing his late-night motorbike tricks on his cheetah motorbike when Leo approached him.

"Hey, Wild," he said in a fake frantic tone. "I saw the Ruff-Ruff Pack causing wheel trouble again."

"Where?" Wild asked, halting.

"Over by the old abandoned warehouse," Leo replied. "Want to go check it out?"

"Well, I'm not sure," Wild hesitated. "Are Rory and Shade coming with us?"

Leo shook his head. "No, they're busy with something else. It'll just be you and me. We'll be partners."

Wild hesitated before finally nodding. Part of him thought something seemed off about the situation, but his curiosity got the best of him.

"Okay..." he finally agreed, revving up his motorbike. "Let's see what trouble the Ruff-Ruff Pack is causing this time."

Leo's grin was twisted, but Wild was unaware of the danger lurking behind the facade.

As soon as they arrived, Wild hopped off his motorbike and walked inside. "I don't see any...ahhh! Mice! Leo, there are mice everywhere!" he exclaimed, jumping back in surprise.

Leo chuckled, pretending to investigate the situation as he stepped forward.

"Looks like we've got ourselves a little rodent problem," he smirked.

"You set me up!" Wild protested.

"So what if I did?" Using his lion strength, Leo knocked Wild out cold with a quick blow to the jaw.

"Now I'm the leader of the Cat Pack," he smiled mischievously as he tied up Wild and locked him in a closet.

"Time to take care of these mice," Leo declared, grabbing a broom and getting to work.

Unknown to him, Copycat was outside. With his purple swirl, he hissed as he watched from the window.

"What did I just see?" he muttered. "Leo, I thought you were a hero. Wow, you're no better than me."

Without another word, he flew off, hissing softly as he disappeared into the night.

How will Rory and Shade react when they discover what Leo did? What's gonna happen to Wild? And is Copycat going to be a key player in this six-part saga?
