(The scene opens in the night sky, as the clouds zoom past quickly, and the sun rises. The sun stops rising, revealing many ancient and modern structures built in the skies.)
Watcher: This is Skyworld. The land of the angels.
(Many citizen angels fly and walk on the outskirts of Skyworld.)
Watcher: An area not known by mankind. A world hidden from existence.
(A young, lone angel exits his home and walks the streets.)
Grandma Angel: Oh, Pit! How nice to see you.
Pit: Grandma!
(The two hug. The scene then cuts to them inside the house of Pit's grandma, where both of them are sitting at a table.)
Grandma: So, how have you been, my dear?
Pit: Oh, the usual. Screwing up gardening...
(In one scene, Pit shovels the dirt quickly, but ends up breaking his shovel.)
Pit: ...I dropped all my groceries off the side of a cloud yesterday...
(Pit, with a basket in his hands, stumbles a bit, and tries his best to stablize the wobbling basket filled with me vegetables and produce, and falls to the side, as the basket escapes Pit's grip and falls off, with the groceries slowly falling down with the basket as well. Pit looks on, disappointed.)
Grandma: Oh, my young Pit...you know, someday you will accomplish great things. Never forget that. Come.
(Pit and his grandma sit in the living room chairs, with Pit's grandma taking out a book from the shelf next to her.)
Grandma: Since you're my dearest daughter's son, I think it's finally time for you to hear the Secret.
Pit: The...Secret? Wait, are you talking about that fable that was kept hidden, or a secret ingredient that you're hiding from me which you use to put in your food?
Grandma: ...what? No, dear, the fable.
Pit: I'm sorry, I just love your cooking, okay?
Grandma: You're a strange one sometimes Pit.
(Grandma smiles.)
Grandma: Ahem!
(She opens the book, but then suddenly, explosions are heard from the outside of the house.)
Pit: What the-
(Many scenes occur, with each one having an explosion as Skyworld gets attacked by the Underworld. Pit, whose desperately trying to get to safety, sees his grandma in danger.)
Pit: Grandma!
(He begins to fly towards her, but is blasted by an explosion, knocking him unconscious. He falls off the land of Skyworld and crashes downwards onto land. He lands at the center of a village. He wakes up in a dream, where in front of him he sees...)
Pit: Lady Palutena?
Palutena: Pit...
Pit: Wait, where am I?!
Palutena: Pit-
Pit: Am I dead..? Is...is this the afterlife? Are YOU-
Palutena: Pit! Listen to me!
Pit: Gah! Sorry, I just have so much going through my head...what can I do for you, O Goddess of Light?
Palutena: I want to task you with an important mission.
Pit: What mission?
(The scene cuts from shots of Earth, to a city, and the Underworld.)
Palutena: Medusa, the Queen of the Underworld, has her eyes set on conquering all worlds on this planet.
(Medusa stands up from her throne, giggling.)
Palutena: And she's captured me as part of her plan, so Skyland is vulnerable.
(Palutena sits in a cage in the Underworld, looking worried.)
Palutena: So, please, I need you to retrieve the Three Sacred Treasures and use them to stop her from reaching her goal.
Pit: The Three Sacred Treasures? Wait...But why me?
Palutena: I believe you have potential.
(Pit stares at her in awe.)

(Pit walks around the Earth, and looks into the distance.)
Pit: (voiceover) My whole life I've been stuck between choosing to fight or choosing to run.
(Medusa, using her wand, and a building crumbles.)
Pit: (voiceover) ...and I've never had a chance to set my path straight.
(Enemies battle Pit on a cliff. He punches a Monoeye.)
Pit: (voiceover) But I've made my choice.
(Pit clenches his mouth.)
Pit: I choose to fight.
(He jumps into a fray of enemies.)
Three worlds...
(Pit flies about in Skyland, which cuts to him walking the streets of a city, then to him in the Underworld.)
Palutena: (voiceover) You may be a lone angel...
Two sides...
(Palutena stares angrily at Medusa while she sits in her cage. Medusa looks back.)
Palutena: (voiceover) and things may not go well on your end...
One hero.
(Pit, armed with a bow and arrow, fires multiple arrows at enemies. Another shot shows a huge devil-looking creature, and Pit running from it.)
Palutena: (voiceover) But I believe that is what makes you stronger.
Pit: For Skyworld!!
(Pit, glowing in armor, and wings bright with light, charges towards Medusa, as she looms over him, multiple enemies guarding her.)

(Pit fights multiple Monoeyes on the streets, when suddenly, a man dressed in black, with a glowing creature made of flames behind him, strikes a Monoeye, knocking it out.)
Pit: Woah!
(He continues taking out the enemies. Once he is done, he stands with a mask in his hand.)
Pit: Uh, thanks, but...who are you?
(He looks back, putting on the mask, Pit staring at him all the while.)
