Chapter 3: In the "Get To Know" Stage

The next day, Abriana was the first to wake up. It was 6 am when she woke up. She decided to be the one to cook breakfast for today. She had enough ingredients for all 7 people in the dorm. She cooked them all for a Filipino traditional breakfast. Once everyone was awake, Abri finished cooking. All of them ate with delight and satisfaction on their faces. The girls thanked Abri for cooking such a good meal. After, the girls got changed in their practice outfits and went to the practice room. Then, Abriana's second day started. Once she saw Jay, she had a very happy look on her face. Dance practice began once again. Once they were on break, Jay went to Abriana's spot and sat beside her on the floor.

Jay: How's your second day so far?

Abriana: It's going great! I'm having the best days of my life lately, especially working with THE ENHYPEN? It's a very great honor.

Jay: I'm glad to hear that. It's nice to know and see you're having fun, despite how tiring practice can be.

Abriana: Well, I got used to the exhaustion after dancing. After all, I've been dancing for 15 years since I was 4 years old.

Jay: Really? Tell me more about it. I'd love to know more about you. *smiles genuinely*

Abriana: *suddenly zones out...in her mind: "HUH?? WHAT??? HE WANTS TO KNOW MORE ABOUT ME?? AND THE SMILE??????? STOPPPPPP IM GOING WAY TOO INSANE FOR THIS. IM LOSING MY MIND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"*

Jay: Hey, you ok?

Abriana: *reality again* YES YES I'M FINE. Sorry. Anyways..*looks at Jay then puts on a poker face* Whats so funny??

Jay: *laughs* I just find it funny how you said that you're fine.

Abriana: Oh, I see *chuckles*. Anyways, well yeah I started dancing at 4. It started when I had always played "Just Dance." It was a great part of my childhood. Then, when I was 6, I started to take classes at a big dance studio in my country. I performed in their Summer workshops for 2 years. Then stopped going in 2020 because of the pandemic. I went back to the studio in 2021, then got sick afterwards. Then came 2023, in the second half of 2023, my mom and I discovered a new dance studio. It was owned by one of the former teachers in the first dance studio I went to, he was also the head choreographer of the former dance studio I went to and was the choreographer of some famous artists in my country. I attended his classes since then, and since then, I always went to his studios weekly. I was exposed to other genres of dancing thanks to that studio. There were some famous teachers from the other dance studio I went to before transferring to the one I go to now! Well, one of the main reasons was that the owner or their boss was too hard and strict to them.

Jay: Wow! That's very interesting. I didn't know that you had amazing teachers in dancing as you grew up! Now I know how you became the great dancer that you are now. I'm really proud of you for going through all that. So, I'm guessing that you love performing on stage huh?

Abriana: Yes! I absolutely LOVE being on stage! I feel like I was born to dance on stage, in front of many people. I have enjoyed being in the spotlight since I was 4, too.

Jay: That's pretty cool actually. You're a really interesting person, Abri.

Choreographer: Alright let's get back to practice guys!

Jay: Looks like break time is over, let's go?

Abriana: Let's go!
