Back Together ~ pt 3

I refused to even sleep in the same bed as him when we got back home. I was sleeping on the couch. When I woke up he walked downstairs with his wet curls, no shirt, grey sweats and his boxers waistband poking out. He was trying to make me forget about it all. As if. I wasn't going to forgive him just like that. He needed to actually prove his love for me.

"Lexi..."

"What??"

"I know I messed up big time... And I know it's going to take time for you to trust me again. But I want you to know that I love you more than anything in this world"

"Yeah, whatever"

"I understand if you don't believe me right now, but I'm willing to do whatever it takes to prove my love to you"

"Mhm"

"I'll make a list of things I can do to show you how much I love you. And I'll check them off as I complete them. Deal?"

"Sure"

"Great!! We're on our way back to being us again. Now, what should be the first item on my list?"

"you should know what I want to do. this is you trying to prove your love and loyalty to me so figure it out yourself"

"Okay. Go put something comfy on and I'll take you to the first idea" he said. He took me to a really high-end clothes shop. He said he was gonna buy me whatever I wanted...

"You really are trying to win me back..." I said as I looked at Lando who was holding Liliana on his hip. We had to bring her with us. No one would have her.

"I am. And I won't stop until you're completely satisfied" he said as he took my hand and pulled me into the store.

"well this is me about 20% satisfied so you're gonna have to do more over the next couple days but this is a start"

"I'll take 20% for today. But don't worry because I've got plenty more in store for you over the next few days"

"Can't wait" I said with a small smile. It was the first smile I had done since before being in the hospital. He picked a pink sundress and a few black dresses for me. He knew I loved black dresses... he was definitely winning me back... he just needed to do more...

The next day he woke me up and blindfolded me. When I opened my eyes I was in a robe and at a spa place. He was gonna give me a full on spa treatment...

"how did you know that i really needed a spa day?"

"I knew you needed some pampering after our little argument. And I wanted to show you how much I care about you"

"and now that forgiveness percentage has gone up to 50%. you're getting closer..."

"I'll keep trying until I get to 100%"

"you'll get there soon"

"I promise you, baby girl, I'll never stop trying to make things right between us" he said. We put Liliana in the corner of the room and she was completely occupied with her toys which meant we got to have some time to just relax. Starting with the sauna room. It felt incredible...

"Okay, this feels so good" I said as me and Lando sat down. He didn't really touch me but I guess he didn't know if it was too soon for that again... he didn't wanna fuck up

"I'm glad you're enjoying it. This is your day, Lexi. You deserve to be pampered and spoiled"

"too fucking right I deserve to be pampered and spoiled"

"That's my girl" he said as he pushed a strand of my hair behind my ear. He knew that saying that always made me blush. "I love seeing you relax and enjoy yourself"

"I've seriously needed this so badly..." I said while still looking down at my feet

"I'm glad I could give it to you"

"I can feel you staring at me"

"I can't help it. You're just so beautiful, Lexi" he said. I looked up at him and looked at his eyes. His beautiful blue eyes. Fuck... "you have no idea how much you mean to me" he said before cupping my cheek and connecting our lips in a soft kiss. His hand placed on my waist protectively as I pushed one of my hands through his hair and the other hand resting on his chest. He pushed his tongue slightly in my mouth as a way of asking if he could go further and it was as if my tongue took his and pulled it into my mouth. Our tongues were completely wrapped around each other's. We finally pulled apart and we both looked into each other's eyes. I knew I would forgive him no matter what. I was fully in love with him. But I wanted to see what else he had planned to prove his love for me.

"i think you've boosted that percentage of forgiveness from 50% to 60% now..."

"I'll take whatever percentage I can get"

"you'll get to 100% eventually... give it another couple date ideas and maybe I'll let it get to 100%"

"I'm looking forward to proving myself worthy of your full forgiveness. But for now, how about we enjoy this moment together?"

"Yeah..." I said. He wrapped his arm around my shoulders and we finally cuddled. Another successful date.
