3RD PERSON POV.
Sometimes people are so desperate that they take some steps that bring them nothing but regrets.Matteo Sorrentino unwittingly stumbled into my meticulous plan, ignorant of the consequences that lay ahead. As I stood on the balcony, overlooking the city and the expansive night sky, Alessandro joined me, the cool breeze accompanying our presence. The tranquil foliage in the corners contrasted with the intriguing shadows that danced on the horizon. "Now what Damien? What's next?"

Damien's quiet chuckle echoed into the night, his gaze fixed on the chaotic scene below. The crowded city, with its endless stream of cars on the highway, was a constant reminder of the frantic pace of life. Some people were rushing home to the comfort of their loved ones, while others sought the simple solace of a warm meal and a cozy bed. But amidst the hustle and bustle, there was an underlying theme of similarity beneath the surface of our differences.

Damien observed the city with a mixture of contemplation and detachment, the winter night adding to the tranquility of the moment."We just wait patiently, knowing that nothing remains perfect forever. Chaos is always around the corner, ready to disrupt even the best-laid plans. Though we may not be authors penning a masterpiece, the truth remains: flaws lurk beneath the surface even in the seemingly flawless." "We're not writing literature or whatever bullshit you're trying to tell me dude. If only I could get an x-ray of what's going through that confusing head of yours it would have made my life better."

"But since you're telling me that we need to wait, can I go home? I'm really hungry and unlike you I can't cook.....I need a wife. Anyways goodby-no, let me put it in a literate manner for you. As the sun sets on this day, we part ways, though not in sadness, but with the hope of future reunions. May the stars watch over you, and may our paths cross again in due time. Which is tomorrow."

And with that he walked off. Damien chuckled at the comment, aware of the complicated nature of his thoughts. "You're right, we're not writing a novel here," he agreed. "As for your x-ray wish, trust me, you wouldn't want to see the mess inside my head." With a sigh he also walked inside his room and went to take a shower before going to bed. The next day would be quite exhausting given the fact that it's the Sorrentino family, there would always be drama there.
