The sky was bright that day, and the capital was adorned in its finest attire in preparation for the grandest coronation, welcoming their new emperor. The streets were crowded with people cheering his name:

"Kintai... Kintai!"

The young man from the Akimura clan, which had lost its reputation among the ten clans, now stood on the coronation platform surrounded by sages and elites.
His stance was dignified and proud, with his black hair cascading down to the middle of his back and his deep, wise eyes reflecting profound strength. His sharp features spoke of an unshakable inner power.
He wore a magnificent imperial robe made of the finest Japanese silk.
The robe was a deep black, reflecting shadows as if it absorbed the very light. Intricate golden embroidery adorned the robe, depicting ancient curses and mysterious powers, giving it a luxurious and majestic appearance. The lower edges of the robe were decorated with family symbols and hereditary secrets, reflecting the imperial family's long history of curse control. The robe flowed freely behind him, moving gracefully with each step, as if it represented a halo of power surrounding him. Around his neck, he wore an antique necklace containing a shining black stone, said to possess magical abilities and enhance his powers. The necklace had been passed down through generations and was a symbol of strength and wisdom.

"Today we declare Kintai Akimura as Emperor of Peace for Japan,"

the sage announced in a booming voice. He continued

"He has inherited the curse manipulation technique of the Akimura clan and will lead us towards a world of peace."

As the coronation speech concluded, cheers and shouts rose. The public threw flowers at Emperor Kintai, coloring the path before him with vibrant petals. Everyone bowed deeply, chanting his name and praising his expected wisdom.

Fireworks erupted, turning the night into day, while Kintai made his way to the throne room, beginning to feel the weight of the responsibility upon him. Settling into his throne, he reflected on the continuous training and his day-and-night dealings with curses and cursed spirits.
His advisor, Okami, greeted him with a bow, but Kintai stopped him, saying:

"Okami... I am your friend before I am the Emperor."

Okami patted Kintai's shoulder with a reassuring smile, proud of his friend's achievement.

"Do you remember the Kyoto incident when you told me you would leave this dream behind because you were tired of dealing endlessly with curses?"

"Yes... I remember."

"You were covered in blood... and people's heads were everywhere."

Kintai's face grew solemn as he recalled the horrific scene, continuing:

"My goal was to defeat Kazuno... but circumstances changed, leading us to form the Sacred Alliance with him."

"You know that this requires all curse users to unite to overthrow Kazuno, so it's not a wrong decision, but a wise one."

He removed the armor he was wearing and loosened the kimono sash, revealing his upper muscles and feeling the wound inflicted by a cursed spirit in his abdomen.

"Are you sure you're alright?"

"I used the cursed healing technique... or rather, the reverse technique, so I'm fine. It's nothing to worry about."

"I hope so..."

Kintai used his wisdom to manage the affairs of the empire and his techniques to protect the country's borders from the incursions of cursed spirits. He established the "Rengo-Kai" schools to teach cursed energy control techniques and to develop the techniques passed down through generations. Among these, the most difficult was the Comprehensive Transformation technique, or "Kaizo-Kingin." This technique allows a person to spread their energy or spirit within a specific circle that expands or contracts based on the flow rate from the person themselves. Only a few have mastered this technique. Thousands flocked to these schools, and this era was known as the Golden Age of "Rengo-Kai." However, it was also called the Age of Forbidden Arts due to figures like Kazuno, who sat on the throne of arrogance and claimed the world as his own. Had it not been for the Sacred Covenant, the empire would have become extinct years ago.
