"Ms. Deior hello I'm sorry for waking you up, but you have to take these. How are you feeling at this moment?"
"I feel a lot better thank you. Do you know when I'll be getting out of here?"
"Yes you will be getting discharged tomorrow. If any pain persists please don't hesitate to let us know."
"Thank you."
Nurse Davis leaves and the door pops back open to reveal Layla.
"Here goes your chic fil a bestie and I brought some extra clothes."
"Thanks lay."
"Did they said anything about your discharge date?" She asked.
"Yes I'll be free tomorrow."
"Yayyy okay when you get home I'm staying with you a few days."
"Lay you don't have to do that."
"I don't want to hear it I'm there! And I'm not leaving yo side til I feel like you all the way 100%."
"Okay and again thanks lay."
"You know I forever got you gurll and Oh monae coming back to town tomorrow she want to see us."
"Wow we haven't seen her in forever."
Monae was the third of our old trio. She left town for a business trip and fell in love with where she was and stayed there. We were sad and confused as to why she would leave us but we started to understand where she was coming from. Damn it's been a while I do miss her."
"Is she here to stay?"
"I think she coming to just visit but it going to be like old times carmen the three of us just living life."
"I can't wait to see her."
"Me too I'm got to get going I got a hair appointment I love you and call me if you need anything." Layla said while hugging me.
I'm so tired I guess eat then I'll sleep.

"Oh my god carmen you need to get out of that house and stay with us."
"Mom I'm okay where I am I won't ever see that man again plus Layla is staying with me and I got Julius."
"Are you sure?" My mom and dad said in unison.
"Yes I'll be fine."
"I'm gone find his ass and kill that son of a bitch for what he did to my daughter." My dad said punching the wall.
"Phil calm down they will get him and do you have a restraining order on him now?"
"I'm getting one mom."
