Final Chapter

The world around them spins and changes as they find themselves back in the courtyard just as Principal Uma is finishing up her speech. They quickly try and make their way to the front. "Excuse me? Do you mind?" Uma asks the Queen of Hearts. "I do actually." She stands as Red starts to panic. "Mom, what are you doing?!" She asks. "Why playing my favorite game." She turns around to reveal her new dress, the front of it was light pink, an homage to how she used to dress back in her youth, while the rest and her hair were red, signifying that while she was still nice, she wasn't her usual naive self anymore. She shuffles her cards and throws them in the air. "Hearts!"

The cards burst into heart bubbles that float and light the area with a pinkish hue. Everyone laughs and smiles at the beautiful scene in front of them, some even playing with the bubbles. "Oh! I'm so sorry, i couldn't help myself! I'm just so excited for my daughter to be here." Red and her mom smile at each other before she glances back at Chloe. "Well, nothing i say is gonna top that, so have a great year y'all!" Uma tells everyone. "You saved our moms!" Chloe tells her. "You changed history!" Red shakes her head. "No! We did it!" She holds her hand. Bridget smiles as she walks towards Red. "The sun shines a little more brightly when you live life a little more kindly, i know without even, you'll stay true to your heart." She grabs Red's hands. "It's likely, you'll get to try something spicy. Our differences are uniting cause life is sweeter when we are." Chloe smiles as she watches them finally get their happy ending. "Yeah, life is sweeter when you are!" She gives Red a tight hug as Red melts into it, nearly bursting into tears. "You know mom, you actually are really wonderful." The Queen rests her forehead against Reds as they share a moment before they pull away and start dancing. Red laughs as she dances with her mom.

The sun shines a little more brightly, when you take things a little more lightly. It's all gonna turn out nicely with just a taste of your heart. It's likely you'll fall into something spicy. Just mix it up, you'll keep finding that life is sweeter when you are.

Chloe looks around the crowd, trying to find her mom. She smiles when she spots a long blue braid. "Mom!" "There she is!" Ella smiles as she walks up to Chloe and gives her a hug. Bridget smiles and she hugs Red and spins around before she catches Chloe's eye. "Darling, i think your girlfriend wants you." She smiles as she pulls away. "What?" Red almost panics until she remembers that her mom is nice which means her and Ella probably stayed friends and her and Chloe grew up together so naturally they started dating once feelings started to develop. They've probably even been dating for a while now. She glanced back and Chloe was indeed looking at her. She smiles before walking over to her. "I'll be right back." Chloe tells her mom. "Oh no, you and your girlfriend go have fun, Bridget and i have some catching up to do." Ella tells her. Her what?! she practically runs and crashes into Red. "Whoa princess!" She nearly loses her balance. "Sorry." Chloe blushes. Red shakes her head. "It's ok, can't stay mad at my girlfriend, now can i?" She smiles. Chloe blushes and nods. "No, i guess you can't." They stare at each other for a moment before leaning in and sharing a loving kiss.

Aw, what a sweet, happy ending. Everybody got what they wanted. But getting what you want can be dangerous. Especially when you mess with the fabric of time. You didn't think that was the end of the story, did you?
