- 3 months later -

— EDDIE'S P.O.V —

"Hey, Babe." I gave him a wide smile as I sat down.

We were having lunch together at a restaurant.

"Hi!" He greeted me when he saw me. "How was the drive?" He asked.

"It's fine, there was no traffic if that's what you're asking." I said.

"That's good." He nodded. "By the way, where's Chris?"

"Carla's with him."

"I thought we were having lunch together?" He pouted.

"Come on, hey. Can't we just have a date with just the two of us? You know, I think I've been busy for weeks, that I had no time for you and Chris. Besides, I have to tell you something." I said.

I heard him scoffed secretly and muttered, "You think?" In a jealous way.

"What?" I asked, because his words didn't quite register to my mind.

"What–? Nothing!" He smiled at me.

Huh.

The waiter came over to our table and took our orders. As soon as he left, Buck spoke.

"What is it you're gonna tell me, by the way?" He asked.

"Okay." I sat up straight, cleared my throat and asked, "Do you want a drill or should I say it directly?"

"Umm.." He thought for a moment and said, "Say it directly."

"Okay." I chuckled.

"Okay."

I had been thinking about this for months, and now I was finally gonna do it. I hope he would say yes. Crossing my fingers..

"Would you like to move in with me?" I asked, directly as he asked, no drills at all.

— BUCK'S P.O.V —

"W-What?" I asked him.

I sure heard it clearly, but is he being for real??

"I said, would you like to move in with me? With us?" He repeated.

Oh my god.. This was really happening.

"M-Move in with you? To.. your house?" I asked again.

"Yes. I'd like you to move in with me." He smiled at me sweetly.

"Wow.." I muttered.

"What is it?" He chuckled.

"I wasn't expecting that.. And you're not joking?" I had to make sure.

"I am not. I really want you to move in with me. Would you like that?" He asked me.

"No... I'd love it!!!" I exclaimed and threw my arms around him. "This is the best day ever!!"

"Alright, alright.." He said while chuckling.

"Wait, wait, wait, wait! Let me just face time Maddie!" I said and pulled my phone from my pocket.

— EDDIE'S P.O.V —

"Hey, Madds!" He greeted her as soon as she answered.

"Hey." She waved, "You look happy."

"Thrilled, actually." He smiled widely.

"What's up?" She asked.

"Eddie asked me to move in!" He exclaimed. No thrill at all.

"Really?!" She said and I heard her squeal from the phone.
